Tres Bien Nails

I was a first timer here on Saturday and was very impressed with the service. The nail techs and the owner are super nice and accommodating (I was a walk-​in). My nails look great and the cost is on par with every other salon (maybe a little cheaper). Note: bring cash for tip!

Not only was the service great, the owners and workers go above and beyond. They are super sweet, polite, and welcoming.
I broke a nail and she did such a wonderful job fixing it. She even picked out my color and I absolutely loved it — awesome polish selection.
I’ve def found my new nail salon!

The service was good but I’ve had better. It’s convenient for the location. It’s near damen amd division corner.

I usually go to Comma but decided to try out Tres Bien. I called to make an appointment close to closing time but the owner is super friendly. I went in and had a no chip removal and mani. My nails were pretty weak so I suspected that my nail might break. Two days later the inevitable happened, ruining my new mani. So I called the salon told the owner what happened and he told me to come back and they can repair it! Tres Bien is definitely my new go to nail salon in Wicker!

If this was closer to my apartment, I’d come here all the time! Stopped here for a mani/​pedi when I was in the neighborhood, and they did an awesome job!
The customer service was amazing from the minute I stepped in the door! The gentleman at the front desk is very polite, and the lady that did my nails took her time to perfect them. My mani/​pedi was perfect! I give them an A+!

The customer service when you walk in, alone, is enough to make this my nail spot. They are so attentive, polite, and welcoming. They made me feel like I’ve been coming here for years.
Mani/​pedi is on point. Great color selection (Essie & OPI). Nice new chairs. Perfect atmosphere. Super clean.
Bikini wax was essentially painless. She’s so gentle.
Reasonably priced and worth it.

I wanted to love this place. It’s just a couple blocks from my new place. Everyone is nice but I can do my nails as good as they do. I do keep them up in between visits. That’s why I expect perfection when I do get my nails& toes done.
I don’t want to see (and shouldn’t see) dry cracked heels when I’m walking out of a place. I shouldn’t see hang nails and ripped cuticles. Such a bummer.

Holy massage.
This is a great salon. Much better than MANY I’ve been to. The owner is super nice, and the service is above and beyond. Actually, the whole time I was there he was asking each girl if they needed water, helping with chairs and belongings, giving out the wifi password and was back and forth tidying up. Very proactive.
Super clean, amazing and new chairs, and discounts if you pay in cash! (There’s a Chase next door).
5 stars. I’ll be back.

Love Tres Bien Nails! Everyone that works here is so lovely and they really take their time to make sure you walk out of their salon happy. There are a lot of nail salons to choose from on Division St. but Tres Bien is always my first choice. I’ll be back!

This was my first No Chip and I I had NO chips at the 2 week mark! Amazing! My nails stayed perfect for 2 weeks despite lots of cleaning, dishes, and using jewelry tools. Tres Bient Nails definitely know what they are doing.

This nail salon was OKAY. Nothing too amazing, and a little overpriced (I’m coming from NY though, so a $ 30 mani-​pedi is common by me).
I got a mani-​pedi, and while they were very accommodating with doing both at the same time to get us out, my nails have already chipped (two days out), and there was a lot of confusion with how they charged our cards (we both ended up overtipping, since they put our tip (30%) on the cards without asking us about it first)
The ladies were nice, but overall wasn’t super impressed.

The service is really great and the owner couldn’t be more friendly. However, this is the 2^nd time my no chip manicure didn’t even last a week. After my last visit, which was the second time I received the no chip manicure, I returned after a week when polish was coming of 3 of the nails. They fixed it with no questions and even «topped off» the rest of my hands. I figured I’d be good for another 2 weeks, but unfortunately, it only lasted a few more days. During that last visit, I also got a pedicure, and the girl took for-​ev-​er and was just having a heck of a time doing the polish. She removed and started my big toe over 3 times. Finally, the owner’s wife came and took over to fix it and do the rest in a jiffy. I want them to be my go-​to place, but after not having a great outcome after my last two visits, I’m going to have to go somewhere else.

I am lived in Chicago, Tres Bien Nails is my favorite, one day i go this place and my nail is nice color, The staff are always very friendly, They are very nice and patient. She took the extra time and finished it no complaints!

This is my favorite nail salon in Chicago, I love this place I have been coming here for over 2 years now and everybody is really nice. I have lived in Chicago for 2 years now and have grapple to find a nail salon and a place to have my eye brows. The staff are always very friendly I mostly go to get pedicures and they always come out great, I certainly recommend Tres Bien Nails.

My review for Tres Bien is pretty long overdue. I have now been coming here for about a year and love it. I used to go to another nail salon in Bucktown and was a very loyal customer until twice, my no-​chip chipped within 2 or 3 days.
I decided to try Tres Bien due to other reviews and proximity to my house. They have a great color selection and great service. They are very meticulous and make sure your nails are perfect before leaving. In the many times over the year I have been here, my no-​chip only chipped before 2 weeks once. The one time that happened, they handled it excellently and redid it at no charge.
The one note of advice is that they do tend to be busy, and although they do take walk-​ins, they often are too busy to accommodate. My advice is to alway call for an appointment because they can work with you to find a convenient time.

I just moved here from SF and needed to my pedicure fixed from the last place I went in California and needed my No Chip redone.
I don’t know the name of the woman that did my nails and fixed my toes, but she is the owner. Her and her husband run and own the place. They are very nice and patient.
She did a great job fixing and matching the colors on my french pedi and and even better job on my nails. She was such a perfectionist. At one point I told her that something was fine and not to worry about it (I hit my pinky nail on the inside of the UV lights and it made a tiny smudge) She said, «Maybe OK for you, but for me, it has to be right» She took the extra time and finished it no complaints! I really appreciated it! I honestly just didn’t want to make more work, but to her, the job wasn’t done until it was perfect.
Lucky me, I found my new nail salon and easy 5 min walk from my house! I recommend without hesitation :)

For a drop in nail place this place is great. They have very friendly folks who work there & a wide variety of color selection.

I think I have reviewed Tres Bien before– but I will most definately give them a repeat 5-​star review, I would give more stars if I could.
I have been a repeat customer at Tres Bien for about two years now for both brow wax in nails. When you walk into Tres Bien, you are treated like a queen. By far, the best service I have ever gotten before. They are so attentive and kind, they really take the time to make sure that you are having the best experience possible, from offering you water to complimentary massages. WOW. They always make time to squeeze me in if I come in without an appointment.
They really take the time to do a great job as well. I have never left dissapointed. My eyebrows are always excellently shaped and my nails are perfect. One morning after a manicure– I completely botched my thumbnail. I had some time before needing to run around for the day and went back to see if I could get it fixed up. They did it no problem and no charge– completely understanding.
I LOVE TRES BIEN! I will be a repeat customer for many, many years!

When I decided to treat myself like the princess I am on a Friday afternoon, I realized that it might be tough to get a nail appointment in such short notice for a Friday evening. After calling around to several places, the owner of Tres Bien couldn’t have been nicer and said he could fit me in. What a great experience! My nails were perfect, and the massage with both the mani and pedi was so nice.
I waited a few days to write my review, and as you can see from the photo my nails had not chipped SIX days later.
