Jamie M. Trapp was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Jamie grew up in a blue-​collar working class neighborhood in the city. He attended high school in Chicago and graduated from DePaul University Law School. Since 1981, Jamie has concentrated as his specialty of practice the representation of injured persons due to the negligence of another. Jamie M. Trapp has represented clients throughout the state of Illinois who have been seriously injured due to car accidents, construction site negligence, medical malpractice, unsafe products, and other types of injury-​related litigation.

Within five years after graduating from law school, Jamie had obtained verdicts and settlements that were widely reported in Chicago and national news publications. Jamie M. Trapp has been the seminar planning Chairman for the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association which provides continuing legal education to attorneys practicing in the area.
