Had someone hit my car bumper in a parking garage causing paint damage. Got a couple of estimates and it was going to cost over $ 600.00 to get it fixed. So I came to Tom and Jerry’s to see what they thought. Tom was able to buff nearly all the damage away except for two really small spots that were able to be covered with touch up paint. The car looks like nothing happened at all. Tom was awesome and charged me 0. Will be back here if I ever need anything. Great shop!

I had a door ding in my brand new challenger and was asked to bring it into Tom and Jerry’s and I am so happy with the service. They fixed the car and cleaned it so well that it looks better than the day I bought it. They work well with enterprise and had a rental pick me up then took it back for me when it was done!

I brought my car in for some minor body repairs based on a suggestion from a family member who’d gone here in the past — and boy, am I glad I did! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tom & Jerry’s!
Everyone I encountered was helpful and friendly, the communication was great and the work is extremely well done. You would never be able to tell there’s been a repair — my car looks good as new!
I’m hoping that I won’t require anymore repairs from them in the near future — but if I do find myself needing any auto body repairs, I know where I’ll be going!

I brought my car in because it was close by and favored by my insurance company. I expected the normal auto body shop but Tom was really nice and knowledgeable. Being without a car would have been tough if they weren’t so accommodating. I highly recommend this business to get your car worked on. The car looks like new! Thanks.

Took my car here for an insurance repair after a moderate front end collision.
Mechanical and body repair was done well, all panels were lined up well.
Paint color match was decent but not perfect. Under direct sunlight you can easily tell the difference between old and new.
After receiving the car back heard a rattle in the driver’s door, saw that the front grill was not attached fully, and heard creaking from the windshield. I took it back and they removed whatever was rattling in the door and fixed the grill, but they told me the windshield was fine and was not creaking. Must be in my head.
Also, my headlights were not aligned properly, and one side was much higher than the other. When I pointed it out, they explained to me that one side is supposed to be higher than the other. I looked up the alignment spec and of course, they are supposed to be level. So I leveled them myself in less time than it took me to drive over, complain about it and get lied to.
Much later, I lifted my window switch, and the whole panel came up out of the door. I found that a snap/​tab was broken off, and replaced with a black tar type substance similar to old chewing gum. I realized the rattle inside my door was the broken tab, and they tried to fix it by using a wad of «chewing gum» rather than replacing the broken part.
This is not how repairs should be done or how customers should be treated and I don’t recommend anyone go to this shop.

Customer service at Tom & Jerry’s is among the best I’ve experienced with an automotive shop. They were spot-​on when estimating how long the body repairs would take, called me with updates as the work was being done, and were even gracious enough to wait for me PAST THEIR CLOSING TIME so I could come get my car!!! Also were cool enough to return my rental to the Enterprise down the street. Can’t say enough positive things about the place. Thanks Tom & Jerry’s for the excellent work (and for the chocolate mints, they were delicious!)

Just picked up my car and am thrilled! I was referred to Tom and Jerry’s Auto Body by a friend in the auto repair industry and am grateful for the tip. I met with Tom, who quickly assessed the damage, scheduled a drop off and had the work done a day early. My car was cleaned and vacuumed. I am happy to post this review… use this shop!

Dropped my wife’s car in on a Wednesday and picked it up Friday and everything Tom committed to was executed on a timely and a very professional manor. They did a wonderful job on the bumper replacement and would highly recommend them to everybody. Also got an Xmas present from them. Small family owned companies over these auto repair chains any day for price and workmanship. Please support them

My car was parked outside of my house and got sideswiped. While the other car got the brunt of the damage, my car had about $ 3500 worth of damage and was not drivable. Huge bummer and major inconvenience.
My boyfriend’s family has been using Tom & Jerry’s Auto for years, and so I wasn’t hesitant at all to use them. What made it even better was that it is a State Farm Approved shop, so my insurance and Tom & Jerry’s worked together without needing me as a go-​between. Tom was super helpful and nice on the phone when initially giving me the estimate, and told me it the car would be ready by Dec. 19^th.
It is now December 18^th (the car was ready yesterday, but I couldn’t get it until today), and I am back in my beloved car with it looking better than before the hit. Tom met me at the door early this morning before I had to go to work, remembered exactly who I was, and I was back in my car within 10 minutes of arriving. Like I said, my car looks amazing and drives wonderfully. I won’t be using anyone else for repairs besides Tom & Jerry’s from now on. They are fantastic!

Tom & Jerry’s Auto Body always go above and beyond to provide professional world class repairs. This is the only place that I would recommend in the area. They are also excellent in keeping a schedule related to your repairs. I was told that they would need my vehicle for two days to complete the work and by the end of the second day, they work was completed. When I showed up to pick up the vehicle, it looked like new. Excellent!!! As a bonus, I received a parting gift from Tom. It was a box of «Frango Mint.» Awesome. I highly recommend you stop in for a quote and speak to Tom.

I have brought my cars to Tom & Jerry’s twice now after accidents. I just picked my car up today. Tom is a very personable guy and explained exactly what they did. My car looks immaculate. My Ford Flex had a ton of damage. It seriously looks brand new now. To top it all off, they gave me what Tom called «a parting gift» with my receipt. A box of Frango mints. Score!

Better than brand new! Tom & Jerry’s Auto Body are the first class collision specialists. They worked with my insurance company and rental car company to make it a seamless transition for me durning a very difficult time. My 2011 Cadillac looks brand new again!

Absolutely great. Made reservations with rental car company who picked me up and dropped me off. Repaired side body damage to my 2008 BMW 328i. Looks like new. Metallic graphite paint matched perfectly. Car ready when promised. Shop is clean. Waiting room, while I didn’t spend much time in it, is comfortable. Highly recommend.

Great customer service and everyone was very friendly. I was coming in with a scratch on my brand new car so I was very stressed and they took care of it in 5 minutes. Couldn’t have been happier with this neighborhood body shop. Highly recommended !

I stopped in one day to have the lock on my trunk fixed. Owner Tom took a look at my trunk and said let me pull it in. He worked on it personally with one of his guys and 20 min later, I had my trunk lock fixed. very cool and professional and friendly service. best part that i didn’t even expect was after i asked him what i owed he waved me off and said don’t worry about it!
Now hopefully I will never need body work done anytime soon. But if I do I will be back here to get my car worked on. I highly recommend Tom and Jerry’s Auto Body to any one.

I have used Tom & Jerry’s a couple of times (wince) after I fender-​bendered two cars within six months (no, I was not texting but I WAS distracted).
I used them for bodywork to my 2008 BMW 3-​series coupe. The owner, Tom, is such a great guy: cool, detailed, careful, and responsible. He took very good care of my car when it was in his shop. You can tell he loves cars.
Tom & Jerry’s was ultimately recommended by friends so I return the favor by recommending them to fellow Unilocal/​internet users who are looking for a reputable body shop in the Chicago area (not far off the Kennedy expressway/​I-​90).

Brought my car here after getting into a pretty bad accident and Tom took great care of her! I needed it for work so he definitely helped work with my schedule and had it done in a great amount of time. My car looked good as new when he was done with it that you can’t see a scratch! Their customer service is above incredible and they remember each of their customers. We even get Christmas cards from them thanking us for our business! If I ever need body work done again, no questions asked, I’m going to Tom!

I know how scary it can be to bring your car to an auto mechanic whom you don’t know, or don’t know if you can trust– but how pleased I was at the experience I had at Tom & Jerry’s Auto Body! I was so sad when my car was broken into and robbed, destroying some of my signal lights, Tom and Jerry’s Auto Body fixed all the complications I had with my car in a matter of a couple days. There’s also an Enterprise Car Rental right down the street which makes Tom & Jerry’s even more convenient. The best part of the whole experience though, aside from having my car in working order again, was to climb into my newly vacuumed and washed car– an extra addition to quality of service they provide.
If your new to the area, or if you’ve experienced loss of trust with your previous auto mechanic– try this place!

Recently, my daughter’s insurance forced us to go elsewhere.
After postponing our delivery date three times, they finally called and told us to come get it. But it was not ready and an hour later we drove off in a damp, poorly washed car. (Class act that they were, the guy washed the car with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Hey, they’re only ashes.)
Yet after 20 years and more than a dozen dings, I have never had a bad experience at Tom & Jerry’s. They know the difference between a dent repair factory and professional auto body service.
