Description

Specialties

We are the antidote to the traditional cheesy wedding DJ.

We reject stale line dances, props and other gimmicks in favor of sweet, perfectly planned and well-timed soundtracks that appeal to every partygoer, from elderly grandparents to the most discerning music critic. Toast and Jam believes that a thoughtful mix of pop favorites, hip-hop bootyshakers, Motown classics and timeless standards are a fun and self-respecting alternative to the embarrassing Hokey Pokey and Chicken Dance.

We work closely with our clients to develop a playlist that reflect their tastes. And although we are music-obsessed, we aren’t music snobs who deign to do weddings — we love weddings and are honored to be a part of the big day!

She also has provided musical direction and live DJing for the Fashionbender fashion show series, serves as Director of the Record Fair and Other Delights at Chicago’s Pitchfork Music Festival and is a founding member of the Chicago Indie Radio Project (CHIRP).
