My old roommate and I single handedly funded this place by buying gallons upon gallons of vodka. The reason is because my dude at the counter absolutely rules and the security guards are cool too, though I miss the big man when he was around. Don’t call it a ghetto because that’s not what the word means, you f*cking racist.

I feel bad for not giving this place 5 stars.
Tip Top is a great liquor store because it has all of the necessary parts for a good liquor store. The security guard at front, the high cashier counter with protective glass, confined aisles with liquor on one side and food on the other. They have cheap cigars, lottery tickets and candy.
This is a real liquor store and if you don’t feel comfortable here than you can see yourself out.

love, love, love!!! The 2 guys that are always there are so wonderful! they put up with a ton of crap from all the kids that go in there and try to hustle them, but they stay calm and are always cool! Even though there are a few other places I could go for booze, i will always go to Yafai as long as I live near humboldt!

I too give it five stars. I know Jess isn’t the only shady person who goes here, come on people there’s gotta be more reviews on this place. I especially love when the security guard asked to come over and drink with us, Jess! haha
Seriously, alot of hilarious and crazy stuff goes down here, it is especially awesome on wednesday nights doing soco…
And who can forget 25 limes for a dollar… thats like 4 cents a lime!

From all the pressure from Diana I just HAD to write a review on this place.
Yafai – I love you. I truly do. Where would all of my vodka, wine, and beer purchases have been without you? Think of all those $ 2.29 40 oz. of cheap beer. 25 Limes for a dollar? Wow, just some great quality memories.
Let’s just say that this shady place is getting 5 stars because the owner/​cashier (don’t know if he is either) is super. He knows what I want. (Is that saying that I’m here all too often??) He is funny. And is always super sweet.
Come here for whatever your drinking tastes needs. And plus — they are cheap!
