Specialties

Our photography has been called authentic, natural, real, alive. There’s reality behind each of these words, and this is the gift you can give yourself when you choose ThisIsFeeling Photography.

We offer an authentic, fine-art documentary approach to wedding photography.

Our approach is all about creating an experience for you — one that you can look back at 30 years down the road and actually feel the emotion from. ThisIsFeeling is a unique and personal approach to photography — this is photography with purpose. The first step is easy: discovering you.

History

Established in 2011.

It begin in the heart of a college student who wanted to change the world through powerful photojournalism, documenting the world and moments that mattered. After 9 years studying undergraduate programs, Ben Chernivsky got married and decided to specialize in wedding photography. Why wedding photography and not photojournalism?

There’s an art to wedding photography, an interaction with ordinary couples with extraordinary amounts of energy to do something in this world. Ben discovered that there was so much artistic freedom and creativity in wedding photography that he would love to specialize in the craft.

And ThisIsFeeling was born. ThisIsFeeling creates an authentic artistic experience for couples in love. Their unique approach to discovering what that couple loves about one another, and what their wedding represents, is exactly how the ThisIsFeeling team gets to the core of each couple. The result is a photographic collection that lasts a lifetime.

Meet the Business Owner

Benjamin C.

Business Owner

I’m a man of few words until I begin talking. I feel many, many things in life. I am a blubbering blob of body and bone, full of passion and positivity.

I used to want to save the world with a camera, and I was well on my way to it in the journalism world. But it lacked heart. I was too ambitious. Occasionally I would photograph weddings to get by. Then I fell in love with the wedding photography art form. It became a way to connect with everyday people, helping them understand the beauty their love colored their lives with.

Now I really do feel like I’m saving the world with my art form. It’s more than just photography — it’s connecting people to their love.
