The Law Offices of Matthew J. O’Connor continues the five-​year practice that Matt has established downtown Chicago at both global law firms, and sophisticated middle-​market firms. Matthew O’Connor is now available to represent clients in all counties of the greater Chicagoland area, out of his accessible and conveniently located office in downtown Barrington, Illinois.

In the course of his practice in Illinois for the past six years, Matt has counseled multinational companies and assisted community banks in both large scale real estate finance transactions as well as the sale of real estate both commercial and residential properties. Matt now uses his talents to provide legal counsel and effective representation to individuals often dealing with large scale, problematic matters.

Matt lives in Crystal Lake, Illinois with his wife and stepdaughter. He enjoys reading science fiction novels, taking improv classes, regular board game nights with friends and family and is perfecting the art of brewing beer with his father-​in-​law.
