Mr. Eliasik obtained a B. A in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin in 1993, and his J.D. from Emory University in Atlanta in 1999. Since being admitted to the Illinois bar, Mr. Eliasik became a civil litigator in the area of personal injury. He worked for one of the largest insurance companies in the U.S. for a few years before turning his practice exclusively to representing the injured. He has presented many cases to juries, judges and arbitrators and has a track record of success. He enjoys a reputation among his peers as an effective and professional attorney.

John Eliasik is a Chicago personal injury attorney and has handled all of my business accounts for the past year.
Mr Eliasik is a great litigator, getting to the heart of the matter and making the jury or judge see the facts in the simplest of terms for an easy verdict.
In one case, I was owed $ 800. The judgement was for $ 4,600 — my client simply would not pay her bill. When it was all over, I can not tell you how relieved I was. $ 800 may not seem like a lot, but there was a lot of work involved and the matter would have been a strain on my business public relations if I had lost. The fact that I hired a great Chicago attorney was, in fact, the reason I won.
The second case Mr. Eliasik handled for me was a deal-​breaker. A business owner in Evanston made outrageous claims that, on paper, looked bad for me. Mr. Eliasik’s cross-​examination proved to the judge that the business owner and his witnesses simply lied on the stand. In the end, the judge threw out the case and literally stated that it would not have gone to court if the true facts were presented to her in the beginning and admonished the plaintiff for withholding evidence. This was a complicated personal and business-​related case that required an experienced attorney. Mr. Eliasik shined.
The last case, most recently handled by Mr. Eliasik, was won again. This case would have been a substantial victory, but I deleted a lot of emails and accidentally deleted a few that I needed for my case. Mr. Eliasik still won the case for me and it was still very satisfying, to say the least.
