History

Established in 2012.

Founded by two attorneys in the Chicago area, The Law Offices of Eric Tibbs, LLC was created to assist clients in need of legal advice for a variety of issues; including DUI, Criminal Defense, Traffic Defense, License Reinstatement, and Small Business.

Meet the Business Owner

Mr. Tibbs began his legal career in 2007 as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Central Illinois. During his three years as an Assistant State’s Attorney he held the positions of associate traffic prosecutor, felony traffic prosecutor, and assistant civil prosecutor. He has litigated numerous motion hearings, statutory summary suspension hearings, bench trials, and jury trials. He also has extensive experience with property tax hearings and negotiations.

Since 2010, Mr. Tibbs has defended the rights of those individuals affected by DUIs, traffic offenses, and criminal matters. He firmly believes in the principal that all persons deserve an attorney that will advocate strongly on his or her behalf. Mr. Tibbs has also dedicated himself to assisting those individuals that have lost their licenses but are now seeking relief through the Illinois Secretary of State’s administrative hearing process.
