The Furniture Shop

This place is amazing. Over the phone, they were knowledgeable and friendly and did a great job of talking me through my project. I had a rush job of a Knoll Womb chair that had to be reupholstered in a custom color. They ordered the fabric for me, did an excellent job on the chair and had it finished in plenty of time, and the price was absolutely reasonable for the job. I will definitely be coming here again.

The Furniture Shop repaired a replica expanding dining room table and rebuilt two custom designed easy chairs for us while saving the hand-​painted upholstery on the chairs. They picked up the furniture and delivered it. On time, on budget, reasonable price, excellent workmanship.
As good a job as I can imagine. Hard to find craftsmanship like this today! What a find! I don’t even do online reviews, but these guys need to be better known!

Perfectionist workmanship, fair pricing, engaged project management, reasonable timing.

This place is awesome. I bought an antique rosewood Eames lounge chair and ottoman and it literally split in half. I contacted the store (which was recommended to me when I called Design Within Reach) and I spoke with Mark (the proprietor).
To make a long story short he was able to get me a replacement part shipped form California, stain the part to match the original chair, and repaired it as well as replaced all the other parts that had worn out over time. The chair is restored back to it’s original state and to be honest it looks even better.
He also went ahead and replaced some other fasteners on the chair for free because he wanted to make sure I was happy with the final product. Some of the best work and customer service I have ever had.
ASfter I came to pick up the piece he walked me down to his showroom on the first floor where he has treasure trove of mid-​century furniture for sale. I can’t wait to go back and go shopping. I’ll always bring my business to the Furniture Shop and I recommend you do as well.

HIGH QUALITY Custom.
My designer had a cutom made 12-​foot sofa made for my living room here. It had very unusual curves and was made to sit flush against my unusually curved walls– it was perfect! So stunning my guests compliment it all the time.
I ordered my second piece dierectly, I got the name of the business becuase my designer accidently left behind the receipt! My husband actually visited the shop in person while it was in process, the shop is minimal, but he got to see the Master Carpentar that works on the custom furniture, Ramon, and he really knows what he’s doing.
