History

Established in 1955.

Our business began in 1955 as a private employment agency that specialized in clerical and accounting placement. Our ownership was instrumental in changing the industry from one in which the candidates were responsible for all placement fees to now and employee pay fee market. We also were part of the movement to have the private employment agency industry de-​regulated. We were acclaimed by Chicago Magazine as the city’s leading full-​service privately held staffing firm. We have also been recognized by a number of associations as a leading family owned business. One of the greatest attributes of being a boutique firm is that our clients and candidates view us as partners in the staffing process. We take considerable attention to the details to make certain we are proving the top talent to our searches. Our name is synonymous with professionalism, service, and quality. Business Owner

Scott Fischer joined The Esquire Staffing Group, Ltd as a staffing consultant in January of 1982 after graduating from Indiana University’s Kelly’s School of Business. Scott has a BS degree in Marketing with a minor in Human Resources. Scott is a certified personnel consultant (CPC) earning this distinction in 1991. Scott is President of The Esquire Staffing Group, Ltd. and Esquire Temporary Services, Inc. With over 25 years of staffing firm experience, Scott has conducted searches on behalf of local, national and international firms. As a generalist, Scott’s areas of staffing expertise include; administrative, legal, sales and financial placement. Scott has the ability to make candidates and clients feel comfortable with his unintimidating style as demonstrated by the testimonials of those who have had the opportunity to work with him. Scott is the father of two daughters and enjoys spending time playing tennis, golf and coaching girls travel soccer.
