Thatch Masonry & Tuckpointing

Great company to work with highly recommend these guys. John is wonderful and honest. They have done a lot of work for us. You would not go wrong to hire them.

We were getting water in the basement, and after calling perma seal realized it was because we needed some tuckpointing work. After asking around for referrals, Thatch masonry was referred to us by a couple people. I figured we couldn’t go wrong since trusted people referred them to us, and I was right. Dee in the office is great, she is so friendly and keeps you updated on everything. John the owner is very honest, and charges fair prices. They also don’t try to oversell the job, they fix what needs to be done without trying to get you to do a bunch of work that isn’t necessary. The work that was done looks great, and has solved the problem that we were having. Additionally, they clean up so well, you don’t even realize they were there — except for the fact that our brick looks beautiful. Highly recommend!

We own a tavern in the Old Irving Park Neighborhood and decided to take down the ugly paneling which had covered our wall. Behind the paneling was an exposed brick wall which was in bad need of repair.
I did my homework and got three estimates for the wall and decided to go with Thatch Masonry.
I was very satisfied with their work. They worked around my schedule, did everything they promised. Very friendly staff, from Dee who answered the phone, John the owner, to the guys who did the work.
