The firm’s founder, Carlina Tapia-​Ruano, is widely renowned as a leading expert in immigration law. For over 30 years, she has represented individuals and businesses in every sort of action before the immigration service; published articles on immigration issues; taught immigration law; publicly advocated for immigration reform; appeared on TV and radio to inform on immigration developments; and participated as an executive in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), immigration law’s influential national bar association.
