When my wife and I decided to sell our condo in the spring of 2011 we knew it was not going to be easy. We were looking for an agent with a strong understanding of the Chicago real estate market, a realistic approach given the market conditions, and someone who communicated with us regularly to keep us informed.
During our initial meeting Susie presented us with a detailed market analysis and took a tour of our condo to point out small improvements that would help the place show better. After each showing
we received a phone call or email to discuss the positive and negative comments. Periodically Susie would call us with recommendations to change our strategy based on changes in the market or similar
places that had come on the market or sold recently. We both really appreciated Susie’s willingness to have the difficult conversations whether it was about pricing or negative feedback on our place.
More than anything we appreciated Susie’s experience when it came time to negotiate an offer. We were very happy with the agreement and both acknowledged that we would not have gotten there without
Susie’s advice and experience.
After our great experience with Susie with our sale she was the only agent we considered to help us buy. Again, we were very thankful for Susie’s broad knowledge especially as we ended up making
an offer on a new construction property. Susie took the time to research the builder’s previous work and track down an owner to get their opinion on the quality of construction. We felt very
confident negotiating with the builder and settling on a price using Susie’s research.
Overall we were extremely happy with Susie and everybody she referred us to during the process such as inspectors, attorneys, and mortgage brokers. We would wholeheartedly refer Susie to anybody
looking for a real estate agent.

As first time home owners and new to Chicago, Susie was the perfect
fit for us: patient, informative, helpful, flexible, and fun. We spent
many weekends and nights together viewing over 50 houses and every
outing Susie was prepared and energetic. Susie is excellent at
communication, not only with us, but all the other parties of the
house buying process. Susie genuinely cares about her clients and it a
great feeling to have someone in your corner who will listen and fight
for you. Susie is experienced and knowledgeable about every part of the
home buying process from neighborhoods to offer negations. While our
home is a perfect fit, we look forward to working with Susie when the
time comes.
