Left high and dry!
Bought a ticket on Stubhub for tonight’s Bulls game with a plan to join my wife and daughter.
Got to the entrance and was told to go the box office. The ticket had been «also» sold on the Bulls web site.
Stubhub’s response? Sorry full refund. Thanks but I just blew an hour drive here, 24 bucks for parking, and my family is inside — I told them to go and not miss the tip off.
Hey Stubhub how about living up to the promise about replacing the ticket. Oh right that is not a guarantee.
Finally got a nose bleed ticket and got inside the arena. Missed half the game.
Maybe Stubhub works for baseball but they seem to struggle with Basketball.

They charged $ 40+ per ticket for shipping. It took a whopping 2 weeks for the tickets to arrive. I wasn’t even in a rush to get them, so I was fine, but I’m upset because of the principle of it. I can get behind a charge that high if the tickets arrive in a flash (even if I don’t need it). But $ 40 to mail EACH ticket for a 2 WEEK turnaround is ridiculous.
This is on top of what I expected would be a mildly unpleasant experience of them jacking up prices and giving vague information on your seats until you check out. Those things I can deal with. The shipping I cannot.
I get Stubhub is a business, and they need to make money somehow. But they definitely will NOT be getting my business ever again.

If I could, I would give a rating of –5 stars. What an ordeal with these poor excuses for «customer service». The website withholds information about the ticket pickup until after checkout, and then they claim they do not own the tickets so they «can’t» cancel the order. If you facilitate a transaction and collect 30%+ in fees YOU ARE responsible for the transaction. Waste of time and effort. First and definitely last time I would ever use a low rent service such as this.

Don’t use them. EVER. Somehow ended up with tix to two different shows (one that I intended to buy… the other was some sort of ApplePay accident). They refused me a refund for the accident and swore they have thousands of buyers for my accidental purchase and would“waive the sellers fee” Long story short, I had to eat the $ 150 for an ApplePay accident. No offer to rectify. I hate StubHub.

Horrible horrible paid 400 for aisle tickets and I am as far away from the aisle as you can get total ripoff stubhub lied to me.

As a seller of e-​tickets online: you’ll pay 27%*
You will pay 10% service fee on top of a 16.25% buyer fee*, plus $ 2.25 per ticket electronic «shipping fee.» Yes, Stubhub double dips. Buyer pays 15% in fees, plus shipping, and than you pay the 10% service fee of all of it.)
Final total payout in your pocket will be about 27% less your total selling price (as the buy sees and pays).
* customer service told me on average it’s 15%. This fee can range from 5−20%. The only way to figure out the real % is to do the calculation yourself when they give you the listing price before it’s posted. For Blackhawks tickets vs Wild, it was 16.25%
Also, the mobile site doesn’t work. I wasn’t able to take down my selling tickets! Went to the game, and my tickets didn’t work out. Turns out someone bought them online while I was waiting in line to get in. Make sure you do everything from a normal PC to avoid issues.
Very slow payment. Why does it take a week to get paid for tickets I sold?
Small plus side, after spending 30 minutes on phone with Stubhub customer service, they waived my 10% service fee.
With all the BS and scams. Mine as well stick with 35% that ticketmaster charges, and be safe.

Bought tickets for the Nas concert in September for my fiancé’s birthday. We get to the venue… they scan our tickets… didn’t go through… they had to manually put our numbers in. About an hour into the concert there were two other people that had our seats. Now we are missing some of the concert trying to figure out what is going on… only to find out whomever sold us the tickets cancelled out for a refund. We were kicked out of the concert, but thank GOD that they felt sorry for us and gave us even better seats than what we had. Called the office to get a refund on my $ 90 tickets. Long story short it took them 3 days to call me back and give me partial credit on a gift card. I will NEVER use them again!

I am not one to take to the internet to complain, and I usually give every company the benefit of the doubt but this company has taken customer service/​overall service to an all time LOW.
1^st– I was charged $ 40 because I didnt mail tixs to buyer within 24hrs, this was after I called when I posted them online and was told that I could send them within 48hrs bc I was out of town. They refused to refund the money even though their customer service agent was the one that told me I was fine to send after 24hrs. WTF!
2^nd– Gave them a second chance and reposted tixs, had to drive downtown Chicago to drop them off, they sold within minutes. Now the kicker is that was 2.5 weeks ago and still not money from them. I have called 6x now and they keep telling me they dont know why my money isn’t going through and they have to stop and reissue payment. It takes 5 business days to do this. Why when buying you need my money instantly but when it comes to paying it takes 5 business days. What century do we live in? I can transfer money in seconds but a company as large as StubHub takes 5 business days. Going on week three and they are still holding my money, maybe by Lollapalooza 2015 I will have my money. WTF!!!
3^rd– The biggest joke of all is how they deflect blame, mainly on PayPal– which if I was them I would consider breaking ties. If you ever ask for a supervisor, they conveniently are never available. I know I have asked, and every time they are not available. I would suggest hiring more managers StubHub.
*As I am typing this I was informed that it will be another 11 business in total to get payment. IF it comes, AND THATS A BIG IF, that will be a month and a half before payment. WTF!!!
NEVER AGAIN

Went online to purchase 5 tickets to whitesox opener. got email confirmation. Next day I went to print tickets, they wouldn’t printhen the links disappear. I cal lscumhub and I get some story about the seller didn’t or can’t deliver the tickets. they offer tickets 20 sections farher away. I sat on hold for over an hour waiting for a supervisor. Now the tickets are twice the price, gametime 3 hours away.
Stub hub won, t give mne a better section says it can’t eat the loss. My clients declined to sit in the nosebleed seats. So i canceled the whole deal. Truly disapointed. They don’t stand by their sale.

I honestly was surprised and pleased at what an easy process this was. I went to pick up my tickets to North Coast music festival, and since it was so close to the venue, and at a time when I would think a lot of people would be coming to pick up tickets, I thought it would be crowded. I walked right in, with no line, and the people at the front desk were very polite and prompt in giving me my tickets. They worked! So that’s also a good thing lol. The extra costs for handling when you’re going to pick up are a bit annoying, but they helped me out of a jam once when I had to return a ticket they bought (they have a one time, no questions asked return, then it goes back to read the fine print and you’re probably on your own).

StubHub is AWESOME!!! I love the seats that they are able to provide and the amazing Customer Service that is available to help in any situation. I will forever be a StubHub FAN!!!

Husband bought through this group. Was told could pick up till 7:30PM on a Sat. night at office on Randolph.
Really? Shows only till 7:00 PM online. Called the number on screen here, got a run around from a person who seemed to forget his question even. Worst, the phone person couldn’t find his tickets.
People, imaginary?, on phone who he allegedly bought it through – cannot give any more info.

Stub Hub fails miserably and misleads the public. They indicated they could get me tickets to the B96 Jingle Bash 2012 the day BEFORE tickets went on sale on Oct. 26 with Justin Bieber for my 12 year old daughter in certain sections, then they switched the tickets after taking my money and gave me rear stage view. Their so called disclaimer was weak or non existent and I will be filing charges with the attorney general in Illinois and California as well as writing complaints to B96 and the Allstate Arena. When I contacted Stub Hub they refused to accept responsibility. They used bait and switch tactics. Never use them. They can’t be trusted!

Booo! I have used StubHub many times and I think that their $ 19.95 charge to FedEx tickets overnight (especially if the tickets are for games 3 weeks away) is outrageous and there should be a USPS option… but this is how they make a mint, I suppose, so I always paid.
I wanted, however, to pick up a couple of tickets from them for a Fire soccer game and chose the «print at home» option, which is not available to many tickets. StubHub charged my credit card and I got an email saying the pdf would be emailed on Friday. No email. When I check the website and my account, it states that I would get my pdf for printing on Sunday… excellent, since the game is SATURDAY! WTF? What a scam. I have spent hundreds of dollars on the site and encouraged friends to buy tickets from here too, now I am telling them that they do not live up to their «guaranteed» ticket delivery.
Scam. Scam. Scam. What a mickey mouse operation. Don’t do business here because they are not professional… scalpers are more honest than these jerks!

The review is only for a pickup from Ebay. Not necessarily Stubhub service. The place is hard to spot sue to the double street, you gotta go in the little one way street in order to get here. Many ppl use their hazard lights when picking up tix, picking up tix shouldn’t take long. There are also computers setup so you may order additional or future tix.,

Being born and raised in Chicago, I am a huge Chicago Bulls fan, and an even bigger Derrick Rose fan. It was IMPERATIVE that I get playoff tickets, and I struggled to find something reasonable at first. Finally I found what I was looking for on Stub Hub. I’ve purchased from Stub Hub before and typically they ship the tickets to your residence. This time, these tickets were only available for event-​day pick-​up, meaning that I had to pick-​up the tickets the day of the event. I thought this to be pretty inconvenient but it worked out well.
I had no trouble finding the place, as it’s right off of I-​90 and located on Randolph next to the Starbucks. I didn’t have a lot of time during the day so I was dreading the thought of waiting there for long lines or processing.
I got there, gave them my name and a valid photo for indentification, they pulled an envelope out right away with my tickets inside. They explained exactly what my tickets were for, the exact seats, made sure I verified everything was what I paid for, and it was. You sign off on what you’re picking up and I was out in less than 5 minutes! Couldn’t of had a quicker and less painless experience.
My sole complaint is the parking. Should you want to grab your tickets and grab some food, you’ll have to find different parking. The spots available in front of Stub Hub are very limited (maybe 10 spots), and are only for 15 minute parking anyways.
Other than that, great experience, and the game was even greater. Bulls win game 2 of the playoffs! The UC was poppin’!

THIS IS FOR THE INTERNET, NO THE ACTUAL LOCATION ON RACINE… I’m headed out to Boston to see my beloved boys in blue play the Red Sox for the first time since 1918… tickets are ridiculously expensive! Anyway, we found some tickets that we wanted to get and went to purchase and the site hung, no email appeared in my email box confirming the purchase and I went to my bank and lo-​and-​behold… the money was out of my account! WTH?!?
I called stubhub, they look into it and tell me that me and someone else were trying to buy the same tickets at the same time and they beat me to it. ‘So why did my money get taken?’ ‘We didn’t take the money, we authorized it, it’ll be back in your account in a few days, someone will call you from case management in 24 – 48 hours’ — ok
3 days later, the authorization is still on my account, the bank can’t see it’s been released, and stubhub says they released it. It took 5 days to get back… I was irritated…
Until I went back to stubhub and found BETTER tickets than the ones I didn’t get and cheaper! I bought those, and stubhub had given me a $ 10-​off coupon for my trouble (not much but it was something).
All in all, I had a bad start with dealing with stubhub, but the ultimate result rocked!

Completely unethical business that exploits sports and music fans without mercy… this applies to all Stubhubs.

this is for all stunhubs not just this one. i have bought cubs and bulls tickets from here. some of there were good deals but some things you end up playing 20 or 25 dollars for a tickets they only payed 10 for. also if you buy with in a few days of the event you have to pay a 15 dollar last minute charge unless the ticks says standing room you have a seat they don’t have to say what row i just think what section i would try and get the tickets any other way and use this as a last resort.

The FanProtect Guarantee ONLY applies to tickets… SO…if you decide to purchase tickets and they include a parking pass in the price… and you don’t get it… your f*cked.
