I tried to schedule a showing with this company. The realtor was beyond rude. Definitely don’t want to be renting from them if that’s how they deal with their prospecting clients.

The associates are mouth watering, they work closely with you to find just the right fit. The developer is so rational and helpful, even giving me a discount for the month for paying up front. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Absolute worst owner you could possibly deal with. I broke a door in my girlfriends apartment and they up charged for the door by 25% (he sent me the actual bill of the door). It never stated anywhere in the contract they were going to do that. On top of the up charge, they also threw on a $ 350 install fee when all of the same hardware was used. Don’t every rent from this management company or Fred Latsko. He will try his hardest to steal money from you, since he doesn’t know how to manage his own.

If I could give minus 5 stars I would. As you can tell from all the reviews they’re awful. I rented from them for 2 years and I never once had anything positive to say about them except for at the time, the rent was reasonable. They went over 1 year without fixing an elevator that they promised would be fixed the day we moved in. All 4 units in the building made a stink about this every month and they basically said we signed the lease they can do anything they want. They are ALL terrible human beings simply put and just want to collect money and do the very very very minimum to prevent you from getting a lawyer involved.
If you’re planning on renting from them ask yourself if you are willing to hire a lawyer to sue them in the future for some issue you WILL have. As long as you’re willing to go through that then sure, sign a lease!

Rented from them for almost 2 years. Had to leave numerous messages in order to hear back, handymen would enter my unit without authorization. there were many break ins to the building because the front door lock was simply-​GARBAGE, I could break in myself.
The washers and dryers were the worst! Soo old, and ALWAYS broken, I can not express how many times I called the MGMT when I was doing laundry.
Everyone was sooo rude;-(
The apartment itself was cute and in great location, this is why I stayed, but if I knew about the issues I would have not moved in in the first place.

God help you if Latsko and Structure Management get a hold of your building. The lawn will die, the cement will crack, the paint will peel… and if you so much as mention it, they will come at you with guns blazing. They completely destroyed the charm and grace of a classic Hollywood property. It doesn’t get any worse.
The only good part is that Latsko and his minions of boobs have no concept of law or boundaries to their tantrums of incompetence and evil. Therefore, they pose no real threat. They are like bratty kids playing «slum lord’. Anyone with half a brain will defeat them when they lie and intimidate.
Still…God help you.

I rented from Structure Management for a year and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and responsive, and most importantly, they were fair with their residents.
It was a pleasure renting from them.

First to review. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT ever consider renting from this amateur hour excuse for a management company. They are the most incompetent, careless, and unresponsive group of people I have ever dealt with.
These clowns bought out my apartment building on Diversey and now are apparentely building a Trader Joe’s, but their management of the residents of the building was so terrible it was almost criminal.
A few examples:
The heating system in the basement is broke, they blame the residents with a strongly worded email threatening charges to the tenants, when in fact it was they who not only could not fix it, but didn’t bother until we pointed out it was in the 50’s in our apartment and its actually against the law to not turn the heat on after a certain date. We were given small, space heaters to pass the time until they finally figured things out 2 weeks later
Turns out the person in charge of the building lived in the coach house, she seemed to have no qualms about throwing wild parties, even on weekdays, and bringing friends into the uninhabited apartments above and below us at night to do God knows what. My roommate once was asked by her why someone would want to live this dump. It was a beautiful Chicago brownstone, but was only falling apart because of her company’s neglect and her poor treatment of tenants. She always struck me as spoiled brat personally, but more importantly she was hopelessly incompetent as a building manager. She was shrill, unhelpful, and truly one of the most rotten people I have ever encountered.
Our front gate failed to close properly, as well as the back door, these two issues were never fixed or even addressed by the management company
Building lights were never replaced, pathways never shoveled or cleaned, as it seemed as if they wanted to make sure the place looked as neglected and abandoned as possible.
A year has passed and the old building still looks as abandoned as ever. It was a great place, a truly well-​kept classic Chicago three flat with wood floors and a lovely location, but Structure Management did everything in their power to get us out. They let the place deteriorate, even though they clearly didn’t have a plan for the property.
That felt good to get off my chest, all I hope is that nobody has to experience the same poor service and management.
