I order from here when I get home late and I’m a little tipsy. Good gyro. Subpar everything else I’ve tried. And delivery times vary a lot. Have gotten food in 10 mins before(I live 2 blocks away), sometimes it takes an hour and a half. And the food is cold. I would pass, but it’s one of the only spots open super late night

I have been looking for a chicken gyro for years! Finally found a place that serves it! THANKYOU! Delivery time was not bad at all. I have yet to actually go there and sit and eat.

It took this place an hour and a half to make chicken fingers that were obviously just frozen tenders thrown in a deep fryer. But at least when I called and complained, the guy gave me a free piece of cake.

From the Gyros to the Cheese Fries I am happy every time. Brings me back to the 90s. It’s cheap and you’ll never be hungry afterwards!!!

It was OK. Pretty good hot dog though the bun definitely tasted microwaved. I ordered cheese fries but received no cheese. And the soda seems a bit watered down even with no ice. Basically, make sure you’re black out drunk if you order from here so you don’t know what was left out or how odd some things may taste. Sober people, you’re better off elsewhere.

DONOTEATHERE! I have gotten sick(vomiting and diarrhea) the last two times I ordered from this place. It’s dirty, always smells like old mop water and takes way too long to make a simple cheeseburger(that still didn’t have the correct toppings on it). STAYAWAY!

I ordered delivery for the first time here. I got cheesesteak sandwich, fries and strawberry shake. All were quite good. No mayo on sandwich which would have made it better. Fries were not greasy at all which is important to me. Strawberry shake was also quite tasty. Delivery took 75 minutes.

If I could give less stars I definitely would. This place was the worst. I waited for my delivery for almost 2 hrs, and when the food finally got here it was cold. I would strongly suggest another Mediterranean place over this spot any day of the week.

Based on reviews, I tried it twice and spaced visits over the course of many months. I tend to drink in the area and like to soak up in local food after some great beers. Regarding their fast food, I don’t get quite get where their high marks come from. It’s fast food which isn’t rocket science and I found it pretty average.

If you want late night delivery that’s solid enough and gets there neck-breakingly quick, Stevos. Stevos every time. Every god damn time

Not sure why there’s so many negative reviews about this place but I’ve eaten here twice and have found the food to be good, the prices affordable, and the restaurant to be very clean compared to similar establishments. I’ve tried the chicken gyros and hot dog and found both to be quite good, fries also hit the spot.

So we just ordered from here because it was close, we’ve ordered before, and they were decent. Ordered the gyros dinner, well-done, to share since the menu said it came with fries and rice, mozzarella sticks, drinks, and a few other items. The gyro meat was barely browned(I ended up putting it in the toaster oven but it just tasted terrible) fries were soaked in grease, no rice, mozzarella sticks were almost inedible incredibly greasy and the cheese wasn’t even melty it’s like they took string cheese covered in batter and hoped for the best, soda was flat and came without ice. I know it’s a grease joint but this is over the top. Complete waste of money and the delivery driver didn’t give me a receipt and he added his own dollar amount to the delivery fee so I’m not even sure if he charged correctly. Only«good» thing was the pita dipped in the tzaziki sauce.

I’m a very big fan of this place, it’s my go to for that«I just got home after a long night of(a) drinking(b) working» hunger. I did expect the place to be a bit sketchy and kind of gross the first time I drunkenly Grubhub’ed it, but I was beyond surprised at how awesome it actually was. The wraps are on point, every side I’ve ever ordered is just what I want it to be. And the delivery drivers are really chill. I would recommend this place to anyone who really needs food at 2am or 2pm for that matter. I love you Stevo’s Grill, I love you.

This was my first and only time trying out this place, and let me just say, I’m not impressed in any way. I ordered for delivery through Grub Hub. The chicken in the chicken strips were good, but burnt, as though they left them in the fryer for too long. The bacon on the burger was soggy, and the bread fell apart in my hands too easily. Finally, they forgot to put the side of cheese for my cheese fries. I tried the fries before even calling and they just had no flavor. Maybe not enough spices, if any. I called Grub Hub to let them know I was missing the cheese, and they called back saying that when they advised the restaurant about it, the owner said he had bagged it up himself and he knows he put the side of cheese in there. Grub Hub very kindly offered me free grub, but when I hung up, I got to thinking, that it most likely wasn’t the Grub Hub driver’s fault. The bag was large enough to have all the food fit comfortably in there, and there was more than enough room for a side of cheese. Also, the bag was stapled shut when I received it. I decide to call the restaurant, and I spoke with a man named Jose, who stated he was the cook. I proceeded to tell him about the situation, and he ‘kindly’ interrupts me and says he doesn’t know what happened, because he bagged it himself and he KNOWS he put the cheese in there, but that he can send someone to deliver the cheese to me. I explained to him the fries have already been thrown away so there would be no point in getting the cheese at this point, and he says he’ll send me over the fries as well. At this point I’m not as starving as I was before I got the food, and I simply wanted a refund for the cheese fries. He said something along the lines of, «Call Grub Hub for a refund. We can’t do anything about it, except send you some more fries.» Being in the restaurant industry myself, this is already something I would personally be highly upset about if one of my employees had responded to a customer in this way. I remembered the Grub Hub representative telling me that she had spoken with the ‘owner’ and that the ‘owner’ had bagged up my order himself, so I asked Jose if he was the owner, and he said no, he was simply the cook. So I immediately asked to speak with a supervisor or someone above him, and he said no one was there except him and no one would be there until 10pm. That explains why this restaurant may not be doing so well. I left my information and asked him to have them contact me as son as they could. I’m more than positive I’m not getting a phone call from them, and if I do, they’ll most likely have the same response I got from this cook, Jose. Honestly, it wasn’t the worst food ever, but in hindsight, I should’ve just gone to McDonald’s to avoid all this disappointing mess. Mediocre food, plus awful customer service, doesn’t belong in Chicago. I would give this place a second chance, but I feel like they’re already set in their ways. Try at your own risk, but I know I’ll keep my distance from this place.

Now, to be fair, my husband and I usually order delivery from here after a couple adult beverages. However, I am always pleased with the food. It is quality fast/fried food from my experience. I love their pizza puffs, they are perfectly golden and delicious(yes, some places can actually screw up a pizza puff) I also thoroughly enjoy their mozzarella sticks. Everything else we have ordered has been good too! The only weird thing is that they only accept online orders through grub hub for delivery. I find this weird because don’t they have to compensate Grub Hub? You would think they would appreciate the direct call… they d not. I am not looking for gourmet when I order, I am looking for solid food delivered in a timely manner and Steve-o’s provides that. I just think they should consider the benefits of accepting phone orders.

I used grub hub and ordered a gyro plate and 2 hot dogs. I was given a time of 7:45 delivery. About An hour. Perfect! Right? NOT I get a call at 8:20– not to tell me that he is downstairs but to tell me he is just leaving the restaurant… I completely understand if they are swamped, short staffed– whatever the case is. I’d be very understanding if they called me maybe 20 minutes after having my order? Not 35 minutes AFTER my food should have been delivered. It’s just bad business. Call customers ASAP and let them know of a delay. Maybe delivery isn’t their thing? Who knows. The food wasn’t even bad. Which is the most annoying part. I’d love to order from them all the time but after this first order. I’m just super turned off.

If I could give this place zero stars, totally would !!! I placed a order exactly at 2:09. Ok, I’ll wait a hour that’s fine. Still no food at 3:10. I call them 315 cause my food has yet to be here. Then he tells me the driver is on his way. Cool. I can’t go on break past 330, I explained this to the guy. He says will get there. It is 330, the guy calls me saying he’s just now leaving the restaurant. Thanks to him, I cannot eat on my break nor at all til I get out at 510. Nice customer service. Instead of being apologetic, he just says ok. I will never be ordering from this place ever again.

My roommate and I order from Stevo’s constantly. The delivery is usually pretty slow, but we don’t really mind. The driver tends to be a sweet older man. The food is exactly what you expect. If you’re ordering a hot dog and fries, you’re going to get a hot dog and fries. Not a gourmet meal. I don’t think this place pretends to be a fancy 5 star, so why hold it to those standards? We like the convenience, the prices, and the food.

Ordered chicken bacon wrap for delivery, received Chicago dog. Phoned driver immediately after receiving order and he told me that he’d check and send a new wrap out when he got back to the store. I phoned the store as well but they did not answer(close to closing time). No one ever got back in touch with me or replaced my food, so I ended up cooking myself something in my kitchen. Hardly acceptable service. Mistakes happen. but don’t say one thing and do another.

I’ve never gotten delivery here, so I can’t speak to the problems other seem to be having with their service. I’ve been here a couple of times… sometimes sober, sometimes not, and it’s pretty delicious in either state. I’ve had the gyro, falafel, and onion rings, but haven’t really branched out beyond that. The gyro is no joke, the meat is flavorful and abundant, the pita is soft, and the sauce is full on creamy greek yogurty goodness. The falafel was just a tick above average if I recall, but came with a really nice creamy sauce that was distinct from the gyro sauce. When I walked in and saw the guy had flour all over the front of him I thought to myself«Girl, you better order onion rings.» Good call, because they definitely make them there and they are stellar. Stevo’s is pretty cheap too, so that adds to the appeal. So it’s not incredible, but it’s solidly good late night people food. Yup.
