Starbucks

Exactly what you would expect from a Starbucks in Macy’s. You think you’re getting regular Starbucks but noooope. Walking a few blocks is faster than ordering here. Iced coffee is very complex.
I wrote this while waiting.

I ordered a blonde roast coffee and decided I wanted a hazelnut flavor pump post purchase. I asked the barista and she said it was $.55, okay fine, I stood there waiting with money in hand and she said I had to go to the register. After I handed over the money, she talked negatively about me while putting one flavor pump in my coffee. All over one hazelnut pump?! Also, side note Starbucks, the new cup/​lid combination creates a seam that spills everywhere. It was all over my hands, phone and shoes from walking 6 blocks.

Batista took phone call in the middle of my order; I only ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. I got the pike place and it tasted way stronger than I ever recall. My sandwich, thankfully, tastes better than it looked.

It’s a Starbucks tucked away inside Macy’s building. It is small but it has everything you need. I got my Chia Tea Latte and it was delicious. Customer service is always on the spot here no complaints from me.

BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION. MY FIANCEE HAD HER WALLET PICK-​POCKETED HERE YESTERDAY BY TWO GIRLS PRETENDING TO PLUG IN A COMPUTER. The wallet was stolen out of her purse.
The coffee seems fine at this location, but it is not safe. The workers at the location also were not helpful in doing anything about the theft. They seemed not to care much. I would recommend avoiding this location.

When I went here, they were out of coffee. How can a Starbucks be out of coffee? A vanilla bean frappucino would have to suffice.

The baristas at the Macy’s Starbucks in the morning are the reason I chose this location. They are incredibly friendly. They work at remembering their customers names and orders, which I find impressive considering how many people pass through there each morning. They are fast and consistent. They are the best!

A great place to take a break, even thought it’s not much on atmosphere or ambiance, unless watching shoppers is your cup of tea. Of in this case your cup of coffee. I was pretty tired from walking all over Chicago and from walking around this enormous store as well. So I was happy that there’s a Starbuck’s in the basement. The service was fast and efficient, if not overly friendly which was fine. There was lots of seating even and even though they were busy I found a table and a place to sit. Very clean and quiet and I rested my feet while enjoying the usual Starbuck’s brew. There didn’t seem to be a rush for me to give up my seat which I appreciated.

The best Starbucks in Chicago. The barista’s know my order! They are really friendly and they make spending $ 6 on coffee seem not that bad :)

The employees here have always been really friendly. Great job! :o)
