Stand-​Up Throw Down is a collective of 6 of Chicago’s sharpest comedians, on a mission to push Chicago stand-​up comedy to the forefront of the national comedy scene. Committed to bringing the very best to the stage, whether it’s one of their own or a booked guest, the team, consisting of Sarah Gallagher, Timmy Brochu, Josh Johnson, Tamara Chambers, Aaron Sutherland and Bobby Hill have thrown their hat in the ring and are ready to rumble!

History

Established in 2013.

Although the comics in this collective have been on stage for years and the talent we book are national features and headliners, this is a new show as of 2013!

Meet the Manager

Manager

A Chicago native, Bobby has had his hand in entertainment since his time in the nightlife industry in the 90’s. Dialing into his passion for stand-​up, Bobby continues to put subjects like race, relationships, parenting and other every day occurrences in a funny perspective with his brand of observational and physical humor. Never at a loss for words, Bobby always delivers the goods.

Bobby has appeared in Las Vegas at the World Series of Comedy and along with co-​producing Stand-​Up Throw Down, has also launched a comedy podcast about online dating you should check out, called Work Hard, Play Hard.
