I never thought I would write a review on my dentist but this office just blew me away after the first visit. Everyone is so sweet and fun. And they detected various things that my previous dentist (Aria Dental) did not (e.g., that I grind my teeth at night). Aria Dental’s office was okay but I felt it was more «showy» — if that makes any sense. My husband found the office first and I’m so happy that I switched over!

I had high hopes for this dentistry practice, but they disappointed me time after time.
I work as a physician locally and have a demanding schedule and it is difficult for me to leave work during normal business hours. At my first visit, I was told I had a few cavities. The first dentist I saw was Dr. Matesi. He told me at the initial visit that I could have the cavities filled in two visits. However, he changed the treatment plan without my knowledge. After the second visit, I assumed my cavities were filled. There was a small complication during this visit, however, I still thought he would stick to the treatment plan he had initially told me and emailed to me. However, it was only at the end of that visit (never communicated with me prior to the end) when he informed me that I still had one more cavity left. It was frustrating as I had to rearrange my schedule for another visit that I wasn’t planning on. I asked for a different dentist to fill the one cavity he was referring to as Dr. Matesi had failed to be able to communicate what he was doing. I saw Dr. Fisher at my next visit. I expressed that I was thankful to be done, and she told me at the end of my visit that I still had one cavity left after she filled one. I’m not sure if Dr. Matesi and staff lied to me (told me I had one left when I really had two) or if he was unable to count cavities filled vs. cavities seen on x-​ray. Either way it is unprofessional or possibly even incompetent. I arranged my schedule multiple times to accommodate these visits, and even made a flight later so I could go to my «last» visit without having to leave work. Dr. Fisher refused to fill both cavities as I was 5 minutes late for my appointment («we had a late start today»), and told me I therefore needed to come back. I have never visited such incompetent and inflexible dentists. I am unsure if they care about their patients or are just going through the motions with disregard for their patient’s schedules.
This dentistry practice is not for anyone who has a hard time making appointments during regular business hours, as they will make it so that you have to come back many more times than necessary.
The only redeeming quality of this dentistry practice is Sandy, the office manager, who is amazing. Unfortunately, as the office manager, she can only do so much. The dentists I saw were the ones who make me give this practice 1 star.

I have never written a review on a dentist, but my latest experience warranted it. Thursday night I busted a tooth out badly. I was in a lot of pain and discomfort. Being new to the Chicago area I was nervous as I did not have a dentist yet. I had to scramble Friday morning to find someone. Also, It was right before a holiday weekend so I knew all dentists would be busy and backed up with previous appointments. I called Sheila from Sikora & Associates. Sheila was awesome! She took my insurance and worked her magic to get me in. Extremely friendly and understanding person. Once I was in the office, Emelly took my xrays. Emelly was sweet, caring and professional. Even though I inconvenienced them, they all treated me like a long time patient. The dentist I saw was named Chris Matesi. I was very happy with the work he did and the help from Sheila and Emelly. This place is awesome. I have already scheduled a time to go back. Good office.

I’ve never had customer service at a dentist like I do at Sikora and Associates. The turnaround time for a response via email is amazing. They work great with a professional schedule so whether you need a morning, lunchtime, or after 4 pm appointment they will provide you a few dates and times so you can choose the best for you. They also send a confirmation email when you book the appt and a few days before as a reminder.
I recently switched jobs and wanted to schedule my appointment with them but haven’t received my cards in the mail yet. They went into the insurance system and updated all my information so if I didn’t have my cards by my appt date it was still ready to go. I thought this was such a great customer experience.
Also, what I love the most is that every one there is really friendly and unlike other Chicago dentistry offices they do not try to sell you on unnecessary purchases.
I highly recommend for anyone looking for a dentist.

These guys amazed me.
I had been really bad, and hadn’t gone to the dentist in a couple of years. I was a bit apprehensive about my first visit back to «the chair», but from the moment I walked in Sandy made things an absolute pleasure. Friendly and smiley, she was a welcome change from the all-​too-​common «I hate my life» office manager.
And the experience with the rest of the staff was just as good — Paul was friendly and helpful, Cindy was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and just plain great at what she does, and Dr. Limardi was great as well — friendly, thorough, knowledgeable. What more could you ask?
In addition to all that, these guys have a state of the art practice — and they used the technology not only to make their jobs easier (and more efficient), but to involve me (the patient!) in explanations of what’s going on.
Top notch.
Lastly, Sandy went out of her way to help me understand some various options available to me for dental insurance — she was incredibly communicative, and was responding well after hours to my e-​mail inquiries.
Highly recommended in every regard!

Excellent service! This is what every dental office should be doing for its patients! Polite, prepared, highly professional and competent staff and amazing doctors and hygienists who actually take the time to examine you and discuss your needs with you before recommending a treatment plan. I went there for a full oral exam, and then for deep cleaning, and couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received so far.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Did I really just give a dental office 5 stars? As someone with major dental fear, stemming from years of orthodontia and a semi-​botched jaw surgery, I surprise myself. Yet the lovely gentle women of Sikora Dental deserve it. I had a dental emergency a few weeks ago. I searched for a nice dentist that would take my fears seriously. I found Sikora dental online and sent an email at 10pm hoping for an appointment the next day. An hour later I had a response from Sandy and an appointment the next morning. Just went back for a temporary crown. Dr. Limbardi and her assistant were great as were the Bose headphones they gave me to plug into my phone to listen to music. I am headed back in two weeks for the final crown. Given my dental anxiety I would be lying if I said I was looking forward to it, but I’m not dreading it either which speaks volumes.

What a great dental visit, can’t express how happy I am with this practice. From Sandy at the front desk to Becky and Paul her assistant they are flawless. Keep up the work. believe it or not, can’t wait for my next visit!

Just had my first cavity filled, and it was almost pleasant when done by Dr. Sikora’s associate, Dr.Eldeen. She was very sensitive to any apprehension or pain I felt. The whole staff is informative about what’s going on-​even during a routine cleaning-​which puts many people at ease. They are quick, painless, and extremely knowledgeable, taking time to notice warning signs, discuss preventions, and answer questions. Hands down the best dentist experience I’ve had. It’s also nice that they communicate and schedule by email – no waiting on hold or getting a machine.

I can’t agree more with the other 5-​star reviews. I feel that everyone in this office is genuinely concerned for the patient’s comfort — everyone there is so thorough and I never feel rushed. If you are looking for a dentist in the loop, I highly recommend this one!

Just hand ANOTHER great experience at my dentist this past week! Yep, I said it… my dentist. Best dentist and office staff in all of Chicago… and trust me… I’m the best patient in the world… but they still treat me like a king:)! Love them. check them out if you’re in need of a great group! Sandy, Cindy, and Dr. El Deen are the best!

An office so friendly/​comforting/​professional and inviting that it removes any fear/​apprehension you might have about going to the dentist. Like all the previous reviews have said, everyone here is super friendly and make you feel at ease during your whole visit.
The facilities themselves are very nice, the equipment seems to be state of the art, with digital imaging devices. But beyond the gizmos and more importantly, the staff takes their time with you. They explain everything they are doing and not only what you should do for maintenance but why you should do it. Hands down the best dental experience I have had. I have recommended the office to several peers and their expectations have been blown away.
An added benefit is they are conveniently located in the CBOT, for anyone that works in the loop its an easy mid day lunch break to squeeze a check up in.

The staff is very courteous and take great care to explain all of the procedures. The new camera is pretty cool as well. The hygienist will show you on the monitor the status of your teeth.
If you are looking for a dentist in the loop, I highly recommend Dr. Sikora!

Great Dental Group! Very friendly staff. Everything is explained well with pictures! Definitely the most high-​tech dentist I’ve ever been to. They take digital pictures of your teeth and gums to literally show you any problems or things to keep an eye on. It is very interesting to see your teeth that close! Really makes you take better care of them though!
Sandy at the front desk can answer any insurance questions! They are located in the loop and they take lunchtime appointments which is awesome!
Overall, the best dentist I have ever been to and I have had some favorites.

Easily the nicest most nurturing dentist office I’ve ever set foot in. I got a rather unpleasant call from my dentist and wanted a second opinion so I stopped in here since it’s right by my office.
Sandy, the front desk girl was an absolute doll and SO nice to me. I was a tad upset and she calmed me down and brought me back to earth. They squeezed me in for some xrays and a quick exam and made me feel much better. I met with Dr. Rachel Cohen and Jen the hygienist. Seriously, from the front desk all the way through this was an amazing dental experience… and when does anyone say that about the dentist!!!
