History

Established in 1970.

Named after the Scottish golf course, St. Andrew’s Inn (formerly Edinburgh Castle) has been a favorite meeting spot in Edgewater for a half century, featured on ghost tours of Chicago and seen on 190 North ABC 7. St. Andrew’s Inn boasts its own friendly, vodka-loving ghost, former owner Frank Griff.

Julius J. Lamar, the owner since 2004, and his staff take great pride in making sure you look forward to each visit to St. Andrew’s Inn for an award-winning meal and to experience award-winning service (Edgewater Chamber of Commerce 2009 Customer Service of the Year award). St. Andrew’s Inn is a pub that serves restaurant quality food with a full bar.
