Probably would have never noticed this place had a guy in the bar across the street not mentioned it. The owner is a really nice guy who does a great, fast, mens haircut. His cute little kids are sometimes around, you can tell that he’s a very loving parent. The price is right, 15 bucks. So, you get a good cut, cheap price, and you get to give your money to a decent guy. What more could you want?

Still the best place to take my sons for haircuts. Tried two places near my neighborhood. Both stylist and barber gave sons bad haircuts. Both cuts did not grow out well.
Hormoz now charges $ 12 for boys. Still worth the drive and paying for city street parking.

Sport Cuts is the best place to get a haircut. I have never been disappointed in my haircut. They listen to what you want and make sure that you get the style that you asked for. The owner is easy to talk to as well and is very nice to all the customers. Would highly recommend.

Best eyebrow threading ever. I live in the neighborhood and can walk to the location, so I stopped in as I saw the ‘threading’ sign in the window. So by chance I found Elena, who is the first gal to do my brows justice. I highly recommend her services. I also found out my neighbor gets his haircuts there, as well as his Father who lives in Glenview, yes he comes all the way down Milwaukee Avenue just to visit this salon. 5 stars, at least.

I avoided getting my hair cut for months and was cutting it myself because most of the time the stylist does whatever they want with my hair no matter what I say. I have thin fine slightly wavy hair. And I haven’t had a haircut I liked for years. Of course over the months I messed it up pretty bad. My friend recommended this place. I didn’t expect much because I was the only customer. But he did a great job and he cut it exactly how I asked, with long layers. And he entertained me talking about his little girl who is going to be a golf star some day. He only charged me $ 15, but I don’t know if that was because his friend recommended me or if that’s the usual price.

Sport Cuts is kinda hidden on the corner of Milwaukee and Montrose. I have yet to get my hair cut there but he has a lot of clients. Sports are always playing on the tube or golf he even has an indoor golf thingie to play. I go there because Elena has been doing my eyebrows for over 2 years now and she got them to the shape that best suits my round face =)
She does wax and thread and yes under 10 bucks. You see I always give her $ 20 because she does other areas of my face that I don’t want to mention hee hee. So bring your man along for a cut with a great barber and lady’s ask for Elena to wax or thread away that unwanted facial hair.
