Sovereign Rehabilitation and Sovereign Pediatric Therapy provide a full range of clinical services to the adult and pediatric rehab population in the Chicago area.

Our adolescent/​adult physical therapy clinic is led by Keith Travers, PT, MTC, and is supported by an experienced staff focused on providing the highest quality services to maximize patient function in the shortest amount of time. Common areas of treatment include: sports injuries, overuse syndromes, muskuloskeletal disorders, balance disorders, and pre– and post-​surgical treatment.

Our pediatric staff is led by Megan A. Murphy, M.S., CCC-​SLP, with licensed and experienced pediatric therapists that provide physical, occupational, and speech-​language therapy to infants and children with a variety of individualized needs. Common diagnoses treated include: torticollis, neuromuscular disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing disorders, feeding difficulties/​disorders, and language/​articulation disorders.

Meet the Manager

Keith T.

Manager

Keith Travers, PT, MTC, specializes in manual therapy and has achieved the prestigious Manual Therapy Certification through the University of St. Augustine. He was recently named a «Five Star Physical Therapist» in the March 2014 issue of «Chicago Magazine.»

Keith utilizes the Selective Functional Movement Assessment to determine the poor movement patterns that are causing the pain for the patient. Keith also has extensive training and has treated very challenging workers compensation cases for several years. Keith’s other areas of expertise include lower limb prosthetics, aquatic rehabilitation, vestibular/​balance treatment as well as golf and sports injuries.

Keith believes in hard work and is committed to providing treatment that is enjoyable, evidence based and effective. He sees physical therapy’s future taking on a strong preventative role with patients being seen on a biannual basis to maintain treatment and workout programs for prevention of musculoskeletal disorders.
