South Loop Parking Garage

Unbelievably Expensive ($ 40 for 5 hours!!) …if you walk two blocks you can get parking for about ¼th of what they charge (I’ve found other $ 10-​$ 12 parking within walking distance even $ 5 if you are willing to walk about .9 of a mile…) They don’t even have their prices displayed where you can read them unless you already are in the garage and as others have stated the web has the wrong price. I would not even give this place 1 star if I didn’t have to. I have to use parking facilities all over the city of Chicago and this is by far the worse and close to 5 star Hotel ‘rip off the rich because they don’t care’ pricing. In case you haven’t got my point yet, I’d rather have to walk across a trail of venomous scorpions than ever park at The South Loop Parking Garage. I’d rather go on a paleo diet than park here. I’d rather surrender to the Viet Cong and let them torture me than come here again. I’d rather let my wife yell at me for a full month than think about parking here again. One final thought… DON’T PARK HERE!

Horrible parking. Unreasonably expensive. You can only see minute/​hour rates after you have already parked. Their web-​site (in case if you wanna check prices beforehand) is totally misleading; it gives you completely wrong rates. Please avoid parking in that garage.

This parking garage should be avoided at all costs. The prices are outrageous compared to most nearby parking, the spots are tight, there are many blind curves, and the layout of the garage is illogical. It’s worth mentioning again that you will get ripped off like no other if you park here. The sign that lists their rate is small and not really readable until it’s too late and you have no other choice but to enter.
