SourceOne is a member owned and operated credit union founded in 1932. Membership is for Columbia College students and alumni as well as current and retired civilian U.S. Government Federal employees, including U.S. Postal Workers. All family members of SourceOne members are also eligible to join, including extended family.
History
Established in 1932.
Founded in 1932, Source One was originally chartered for Federal employees with the bulk being U.S. Postal employees. Since then, it has expanded it’s charter to include Columbia College Students & Alumni. Located in the historic Printer’s Row on South Dearborn St, Source One is located in the National Registry of Historic Places Pontiac Building. The Pontiac Building is the oldest surviving work of famed Chicago architects, Holabird & Roche. It was built in 1891 and was listed on the National Registry in 1976.
