Hands down Mary is my FAVORITE Eyebrow Specialists! That woman is a life saver lol She listens to way you want and makes suggestions. I’ve been to so many other places and always end up going back to Mary so she can fix my over waxed eyebrows.

Where do I begin. From the first appointment with Mary I was hooked. She made me feel so comfortable. She’s attentive and she explains in detail every step. Mary is very hospitable walking in sleek beauty studio you feel like family. It’s clean, cozy and so welcoming. I no longer allow anyone to touch these brows. I highly recommend Mary to everyone. I can actually say all my family and friends have eyebrows by Mary!

Mary is beyond amazing! She is a natural makeup artist! She makes you feel like a million bucks! She listens to her clients and gives them the best service! You can’t compare her work with no one in town. She did my makeup for my bridal shower, wedding and whenever I just want to feel fabulous. I have sent many of my friends her way and they were all so happy with her work.
Besides a makeup artist, she is the Queen of eyebrows! Seriously she can make your eyebrows go from rags to riches! So ladies there is no excuse to walk around town with ugly eyebrows! Mary can fix them and help you grow them back right to get a beautiful shape!

Mary has been doing my eye brows for about 2 years now and is truly an eye brow goddess. Salon is super cute and I love that I’m able to book her online, especially because she books up pretty quickly.

Considering the effort I made to get over here, Mary doesn’t seem to care about her clients time. I was so worried I was getting there a little late, I had the courtesy to call her ahead to time to let her know I would be 5 to 10 minutes late. She said «no problem, I’m running about 5 to 10 minutes late as well. So I’ll be ready when you get here.» I got there 7 minutes late as expected.
She had me wait 40 minutes until she acknowledged that she was running behind but wasn’t really apologetic at all for wasting my time and effort. She didn’t care. So I left. I’m a new client. Not a good look. She was recommended to me by a friend… yeah, I’ll make sure she stops recommending her considering her lack of courtesy.

This is my new «happy». I love-​love-​love this place. It has a chic clean new look. Great lighting and very laid back. I had my makeup and eye brows done by Mary. She is amazing! Mary was very sweet and welcoming and did a great job. I will definitely call her for my next event. She also did subtle makeup on my 13 year old and wand curls, for her 8^th Grade Graduation. She knew exactly what I wanted and delivered. Most places don’t know the difference between subtle and pageant makeup, Mary did. I will definitely go back and try other services.

I have been a client for 6 months, Sleek Beauty studio is amazing! Mary and her team are very professional and talented. This salon offers several services and I have tried almost all of them. From Brows, nails and hair this salon does it all.
Mary personally makes sure that each visit is amazing and treats all of her clients exceptionally well. Pedicure. Meh, that poor girl barely did abutting l anything. Watching her paint my toe nails was horrifying.
As well as watching one of the girls put curls in her clients hair. I would have been pissed

This was by far the WORST Brazilian waxing experience I have ever had!!! I was very unhappy with their service every step of the way. When I first walked in, I was barely greeted before the employees immediately went right back to loudly gossiping. 20 minutes after my appointment time, I interrupted the gossip session to ask when they were going to be available, and was told to wait another 15 minutes. When I was FINALLY brought back to the waxing room, 50 minutes later than my scheduled appointment, the room looked very dirty and there was no cover at all on the table you have to lay on. No sheet, no paper covering, nothing at all. Although I was very unhappy with the situation, I had already paid for it and already waited almost an hour, so I decided to suck it up.
Before laying down on the table, I actually had to brush someone else’s hair off of it. DISGUSTING!
When the waxing technician came in, she asked if I was okay with soft wax, and I told her I had only used hard wax before and asked her what the difference was. Before responding she already started spreading the wax on my skin. She did not wait for me to answer, I was in mid-​objection when she slathered it on. Not cool. She then told me that soft wax usually hurts more, but she thinks it works better. That was comforting…
10 very rushed, painful minutes later, she told me I was all done, and «cleaned up» which consisted of her wiping the area with a damp paper towel. She did not use any after care lotion or anything, even though there was a bottle right on the table next to us. She told me that because I had shaved several weeks before hand, there were a few «straggler hairs» she couldn’t get. When she left the room and I examined her work, I could not believe the mess she left behind. There were clumps of wax and tons of hair left over. The very first wax that I ever had after years of shaving left me with a much better result, so I was not buying her excuse that the terrible results were because I had shaved weeks prior. Overall, I left extremely unhappy, in pain, and without the results I paid for. Not to mention I felt the immediate need to shower after laying on that disgusting table. I bought a Groupon for 3 waxes, and there is NO WAY I will ever go back to use the other 2. What a waste of money and time! If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Ugg!

Atalie is a god send! My hair is very fine and Atalie is able to work volume into my hair that lasts. I also swear by her wand curls which last into the next day. She was avle to repair damaging Ombré job done by another salon and keep my hair long and healthy.

Everything was perfect from beginning to end. .I live in Minnesota but travel to chicago just to visit sleek beauty. Safe and secure neighborhood, clean and glamorous salon. Extremely talented and down to earth staff members. Mary did my brows and Atalie colored and cut my hair. I was in the day before Christmas and still treated like a queen, and not rushed. I highly recommend Sleek beauty. Thank you Mary and Atalie. I will see you next month.
