History

Established in 2014.

Certified as a personal trainer (ACSM) in early 2014 and later as a Health Coach (ACE Fitness) and Running Coach (RRCA), I began training clients independently.

I help women confidently find their balance and start positively living their ideal life!

I strive to be a positive influence in a world obsessed with superficial looks, and being busy. I demonstrate how taking time for yourself isn’t selfish, being healthy doesn’t mean depriving yourself, and that exercise shouldn’t be punishment.

Business Owner

I have always been active, playing softball and taking dance while growing up in Louisville, Kentucky. I later fell in love with running and learned my way around a weight room during college at Bradley University in Peoria, IL. After moving to Chicago in 2008, the accessibility of the Lakefront Path and plethora of running groups took my running to the next level. I have since run 16 half marathons and 6 marathons!

Reading fitness magazines and online articles, while also trying out new classes at my gym, became more than a hobby — I realized it was a passion I wanted to pursue as a career. I wanted to share my love of a hard workout with others and motivate those around me. After researching the many certification organizations, I decided to become certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). In the fall of 2014 I wanted to offer more rounded services through health coaching, and assist those wishing to make serious lifestyle changes towards a healthful way.
