called in and got a fast estimate appointment with the office manager, met with Dan who came and provided me with a reasonable priced estimate. He was very informative and answered all my questions in a way that made me feel confident in their line of work.
Work was scheduled quickly like not even 3 days later i had the technician Eddie and Carlos out and they were amazing guys who obviously know what they are doing. They worked quickly and made sure to show me everything before they left and even cleaned up after themselves which is good cause ive had services from other companies and they always leave a mess., I would definitely recommend SirGrout to everyone I know! Today I met with James to obtain an estimate on painting and cleaning my floor which appeared dirty. He told me that my floors were in fact not dirty but that the previous owner preferred a darker grout color which was consistent through the entire floor. He basically suggested just to get it cleaned with a mop.
Very honest!

We had our master bathroom and kitchen grout cleaned and covered by Sir Grout about 5 months ago and it looks great! Just like new again. This place has excellent customer service as well.

These guys were fantastic! Apparently I had silicone seal issues in my limestone shower that my tenants didn’t mention (for five years!). The shower, niches, floor all needed a deep, thorough cleaning. It was incredible! Looked fantastic. My porcelain tile floor in the kitchen, looked brand new when they were done. Not only did I recommend them to my real estate agent, but I also want to bring them into my home to clean our tile and grout there. Not cheap, but neither was the tile I installed, so it was sooooo well worth it!

This company was great. Both people I dealt with (the estimator and Carlos) were very personable and professional. The work was done quickly but expertly. Carlos also fixed grout and sealed the floor though that wasn’t part of the original work order. Highly recommend them.

My first appointment was cancelled due to flat tire from inspector lady, which was ok, as my schedule is flexible. I ended up sending photos and they quoted me based upon my photos. The grout on my marble bathroom floor was stained, but they were unable to get it back to its original white color due to not being properly sealed at the time of installation. They did the best they could, the guy had to hone the marble by hand. The inspector and technician were both very nice.

These guys are awesome! Spent $ 5000 on limestone/​marble floors in bathroom and never knew that certain products etched the tiles.
They were here for around 3 hours and brought it back to the original factory honed finish. Something another company I paid $ 500 to coukd not do. They will be my go to refinish for any sort of natural stone moving forward!

The technician completed the work in a timely manner. The original estimate did not address the work that I had wanted done. When the job was completed I was initially disappointed. I had asked for the tile in the bathrooms and kitchen backsplash to be cleaned, sealed and have the grout repaired.
I called the company back and spoke with the owner Dan, who came out to see the completed work. He stated that sealing the floor of each shower would cost an additional 350.00. The backsplash in the kitchen would have to be redone with tile applied over the existing tile. At an additional cost.
Review the estimate with the sales rep and spell out exactly what the price reflects before scheduling the job.

The owner was helpful in correcting a problem with cleaning our slate bathroom. I was unhappy with the initial results but Dan contacted me immediately and rectified the situation. I am now pleased with result and would hire him again.

Sir grout has really wonderful customer service. We had an issue with some work they did two years ago and the owner himself called me, emailed me and came to our condo to fix our shower himself. This man obviously cares about his customers and really wants them to be happy with the work they do. We will use them again and again. Thank you to Dan and his team!

I had been trying to find a worthy contractor to regrout and seal my shower. The estimate process went smoothly and the woman who came to my home could not have been nicer. Plus, she knows her business.
When the guy came here to do the work, again, smooth sailing and I was super impressed with his helpful grout color suggestion.
I highly recommend Sir Grout and will definitely use them again for my other bathroom when the time comes.

I was very pleased with Sir Grout. The sales person responded quickly and on time to my call. He explained the process and demonstrated what it would look like. The crew person was on time and friendly. My kitchen floor looks like new. It only took a few hours and I was able to use my kitchen the same day.

Used them over the summer for a full grout cleaning of our shower and bathroom floor. Some confusion with the worker not thinking that the floor was part of the job — had to show him the order form to convince him. Within 3 weeks, part of the seal in the shower was coming apart already. Good thing for the 1 year warranty! They came back out quickly and everything seems fixed for now. Good service and easy to work with, quality seems a little less than perfect.

Boy these fucking guys just won’t give up on being awful. They’re persistent with it! So, my first review was based on them doing a shit job, which the owner came out inspected and agreed was bad. He came to repair it, i confirmed with him that there would be no additional charge for them to fix their poor work. Today, December 9^th, 2015, 3 MONTHS later they tell me i owe them more money and will be turned over to collections if not paid. A. This is the first i’m hearing of any outstanding balance. B. Fuck you. and C. Fuck you.
I thought we had figured this out 3 MONTHS ago and man, they just keep on coming back being terrible. Was impressed with their ownership of their work but i mean, just fuck it at this point. Use somebody else.

Great job and follow through. I did purchase the more expensive re-​grouting as I was having some cracks and discoloration in my marble shower grout and did not want to have to redo this again. After about 8 months, I noticed one small area about 6 inches that had a small crack and discoloration (not mold), and when I called they sent someone out right away to repair it (there is a 2 year warrantee). Very happy with how original turned out and response to my small issue.

The guys did a pretty good job. I had to walk through the work order to make sure everything was covered but the end result is very good.
I was able to easily re-​arrange the work schedule to bring Sir Grout back to complete the job.

Ok let me just tell you, this place is awesome.
We just bought a new home and needed our master shower spruced up. The limestone was discolored and the grout needed some touching up.
They came and gave a free estimate. My husband said the guy was really nice and helpful. Didn’t feel like he was trying to take advantage of us… which is common in this industry. Just like cars, ya know.
It’s not cheap when you have these issues, but once we had the estimate, Dan worked with me via email to schedule an appointment. Which for me, is great because it’s difficult for me to make calls during the day due to my schedule.
We were able to schedule the two days they needed. They came, they fixed, they rock. Our shower looks brand new. It’s amazing. I would highly recommend these people for any work like this. I’ll post some pics… amazing!

Very disappointed in both the sales call in my apartment rental as well as the lack of requested follow up on my complaint. I phoned and asked how much it was to re-​grout my bathroom, what the process was and all the details on their service. Never once during my estimate did the sales woman tell me out of the gate its a $ 500 minimum for service in the home. While she was there she also tried up-​selling me on redoing my tub with her, despite I had already hired someone, and her price was nearly double the competitors. I told her thanks but it was too high, she agreed and said she is told that often but can do nothing, and continued to write up the final quote and I said I was only interested in the grout and was not interested in paying $ 150+ to do 2 lines of caulk I knew my Husband could do, even me, for $ 10 bucks of caulk and 5 minutes of time. She said ok, and I asked about dates etc. Everything was set I just needed to call the office and confirm. Thats when they said it was $ 500 min to come out and when asked to speak to the owner or Manager not only did they not call me back– I asked this of both the receptionist but also the sales woman– they never called. Additionally, they always answered my calls during business hours, now that I was calling to follow up on no return call, for 3 days they never answered the calls during the week. (Clearly they have caller ID) This company does not service the client and has a very calculated way of quoting things, and you MUST pay $ 500 for them to come at all. Too bad because I was willing to do another unit if it went well that has 3 large bathrooms.
In business more than half of it is customer service, which is how your business grows via word of mouth. I am not a fan of the people here, or their process. I found another company in the west suburbs, and its the 2 owners who do all the work themselves and were very competitive, as well as great end result, who I will review next! Perhaps next time Sir Grout you will pick up the phone and do the tough work which is addressing what was a simple issue initially!
