I haven’t been to the movie theater for two years. I went today because T-​Mobile had a deal if you have it as a service (Tuesday t mobile freebies). When I went there and got my ticket from the counter. They asked me if I was parking downstairs and I said yes. Parking down there is $ 12 for 4 hours, which is ridiculous. It use to be free. So you pay $ 12, get $ 7 promo for that day only; to use on your concession stand which is dumb. I knew at some point when they built the garage they will charge a ridiculous price for parking your car and I was hoping that their website would Clarify parking your car charge rate. I also heard today that they don’t have Tuesday deals any more ($ 6 movie after two weeks it came out). 6÷28÷16

Huge recliner with plenty of room for drinks and pop corns. For 21+ crowd, you can also order booze from the bar! You can’t go wrong with that. But since I was watching Finding Dory, I wasn’t in the mood to get plastered while watching a pixar animation while kids are everywhere. Parking can be pain in the ass and confusing but it’s free with voucher from the theater. They also have 3d/​VIP seating/​dolby theaters so you can enjoy the films to the fullest. Great place!

You pay $ 12 for parking up to 4 hours, and get a $ 7 concession voucher.
Also, the EXTRA Member Benefits are now nothing compared to what they used to offer. It used to be VIP seating and free popcorn for $ 6.
But we all knew this day would come. Good deals won’t last forever…

I went there to see «Now You See Me Too». I really enjoyed the movie and the theater. Seats were very comfortable, I didn’t have to wait in the line to get my ticket. The little strip mall is also very cute. I think will go there more often now since there are free parking and I could do some shopping before the movie.

This place is by far one of the best theaters to go to, especially when you get the VIP tickets. Yes, we all know that movie theaters of any sort are expensive and this like many others is the same. The reason this theater differentiates from the other is that there is a 3rd story with a big bar looking down on the theater entrance with very few selection of beer but overall good clean experience.

Love the reclining theaters because those seats are so comfortable! Not too in love with the price for a movie here – $ 15 is a lot! $ 15 might be worth it if you’re in a reclining theater, but to me it’s not if you’re just in a regular one.

Teens should consider staying away from this theatre. Apparently, they have a policy that teens under 17 CANNOT purchase a ticket to ANY movie after 7 p.m. My daughter and her group of friends were hoping to celebrate their last day of school at the movies. These kids come from many different neighborhoods around Chicago and this was a central location for them. You have seriously disappointed a great group of kids/​future customers. They are all talented performers/​artists who are usually performing for others on the weekend. This was their ONE break.

Terrible service and just not inviting. The manager needs to go over what customer service is to his/her’s employees. It was just terrible and not going back. They are not friendly at all and inconsistent. Just bad! I rather drive 45 minutes to muvico in Rosemont.

I live about 5 minutes from here. The primary reason I used to come here was for the discount Tuesday and free popcorn. Now that they stopped doing this promotion on Tuesday, I find little reason to come here. I like Tuesdays to avoid the crowds on weekends.
Good to know Regal Theatres still offer discount Tuesdays.

This theater used to be grand, but like most have fallen into cleanliness issues. Of course, wear and tear are a part of life, but some basic cleaning of the theaters, lobby and bathrooms need to happen. The whole place just feels a little grimy now.
I still don’t understand why movie theater concessions haven’t migrated to a cashier/​runner system. Having the person behind the register take your order, and then go and get every single item in your order may be the most outdated and inefficient system for filling orders I’ve ever seen. This isn’t rocket science, just copy Starbucks/​McDonalds! Even stadiums have wisened up — have one cashier per register take your order, have tickets print at each station (drink, nacho, etc) with a register number, have the runners bring the food to you. And if you move faster, more people will buy your concessions! Better yet, just have people order from touchscreens, and go pickup their orders at the end of the bar.
Lastly, and most sadly, they have gotten rid of the discount Tuesday nights. If paying full price for first run movies, I would much rather go to one of the newer and cleaner theaters. Save for the easy parking, I don’t see to much value in this theater anymore.

Spare of the moment visit to ICON to view the movie «Meet The Blacks» The movie was just ok, had a few funny parts other than that it was just ok… The highlight of my visit there was going upstairs to their in house bar. The bartender was a great guy that prepared drinks like you’ve never had before. I had a drink called South Loop Sexy that’s was every bit of the drink. It was prepared with Bacardi Limon and pineapple juice. My 2nd drink was called Roosevelt & Clarks that was given to me on the house because it had taken my sliders 45mins to come out… PLEASE remember where you parked when arriving because it’s a mess when it’s time to leave… All in all, it’s a great place for an movie/​dinner date with the special person in your like… You should try it out.

I remember when this theatre first opened. It felt so fancy back then. It was the first theatre I had been to where you could have a beer while watching your movie.
Now, everyone lets you do that. The theatre felt sad and smelled like all older theaters do: smelly carpet and stale popcorn butter. They have a one drink per hour rule which is way out of touch with other theaters. I won’t go out of my way to come back here. There are plenty of great AMCs in downtown Chicago.

This has been our go-​to theatre for a while now, but the last two times we’ve gone, we’ve left very disappointed. My issue is more with the bar than the theatre itself.
We got to the bar an hour before showtime to have drinks and a bite to eat. In that hour we had one drink and our sliders arrived 5 minutes before showtime. The staff was very polite, but man, did they move slowly. Waiters were standing in a line at the bar waiting for drinks. They had four bartenders, but the one making drinks for waiters was also making drinks for customers at the bar. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks, and 55 for our sliders. It’s not good when the waiter admits, «you might want to take these to go.» The food wasn’t bad, but no reason to take that long.
They did validate my parking, but the ticket wouldn’t work in the machine, so I had to use my original ticket and pay $ 14.
Side note — who let their drunk uncle design that parking garage? I’ve never been so confused behind the wheel as I am when I get down there. I’m not blaming the theatre for the garage. That’s out of their control.

This theater has reserve seating where you pick your seat when you purchase your ticket online so you don’t have to worry about getting to the theater early to get the seat you want. One issue with that is if you are not familiar with the theater spacing and you end up reserve seats in the nosebleed section when online it looks like it’s further away from the screen. This happened to be the scenario I found myself in and luckily, there was no one sitting in the row behind me and I was able to move back. It was very fortunately because I would have gotten a full blown headache if I had to sit in my original seat. I would recommend no closer than row E when selecting a seat. Regular adult ticket is $ 14.
The popcorn was good and they have a self-​serve «butter» station.

This is the closest theatre to me but I would definitely travel in a heartbeat to any other theatre in the city! I haven’t seen a VIP movie here (perhaps its a different story), but based off my non-​VIP experience, I would avoid this place.
The theatre is quite dirty with the red velveteen seats looking very worn, dirty, and stained. There’s many stalls in the washroom, but I would beware… Last time I was in there, there was vomit all over the stalls…
Wouldn’t recommend this theatre to anyone, especially for the price. Go to another movie theatre. One upside is that this movie theatre has validated parking and is located near a Target, Ulta, Container Store, etc.

I’ve been coming here for years. The great thing about this place is that it is close by AND it is free parking. There is the regular seating and there is also the VIP seating where you can eat and drink in the theaters with comfortable recliner chairs. I love it. Plus, there are shops outside of the theater in the Roosevelt Collection where you can shop, eat, and drink coffee!

Went here last night and it was crowded. The theater itself seemed fine, but their parking lot is ridiculous! Took us 30 minutes to find my
car. Each floor is labeled with the the same letters with no distinction of what floor you’re on. So parking levels 1 through 3 will all have a G east parking section, if you don’t remember what floor you were on you are done for. Remember your floor! Most lots would have different markers for each floor… not this place. I probably won’t be back again because this was really annoying.

The place doesn’t scream super clean but the bathrooms are really decent…

Free parking with validation is a great plus! Sign up for their free Rewards program that lets you purchase tickets without service fees and that also provides discounted movies on Tuesday’s along with free popcorn. You have to book online signed in as a Rewards member to get the savings and the free popcorn.
As for the theater, its not the cleanest venue. The men’s restroom’s are filthy and on occasion you’ll find dirty aisles and seats with stains. But if you’re one of the first one’s seeing a film that day chances are it’ll be fine.
I would not recommend their VIP seating. It’s not clean, not worth an average of $ 20 per ticket and wherever you sit in the VIP there’s a super annoying piece of glass that blocks the bottom of the screen. Unless you’re over 6 feet tall or have a neck of a giraffe, you’re staring at that clear glass which is usually smudged with fingerprints. The food in the VIP is nothing special, less than 2 stars worthy.

This is a splendid movie watching venue. We went here on a Sunday afternoon to watch the final installation of Hunger Games. Don’t ask me for a movie revue because I was half asleep most of the time. This is not because the movie was boring, but just the mere fact that my seat was reclined all the way back and I was in the fetal position. We went for the VIP movie tickets which is the 21 and over theaters upstairs from the main ones.
This place has a great view of the South Loop from the lobby, also free parking with movie validation. I loved the layout of the theaters, and did I mention the seats are comfier that a nimbus cloud? I believe our tickets were around $ 17 each for a 3:50pm show on a Sunday. This is very reasonable, and even cheaper than the premium theater at Muvico.
I didn’t order anything fancy from the restaurant upstairs, just went with the old nachos, and coke. I did see our neighbors to my left were enjoying some wine and filet mignon. OK maybe it was probably not filet mignon, but it sure smelled awesome.
I plan on watching the new Star Wars movie here next month. This place has earned a new loyal customer.

My husband and I frequent this movie theater. The plus side is that you can reserve your seats. Also, they have a bar upstairs, and if you are in the VIP theater, you can bring your drinks with you to watch the movie. Unfortunately, if you aren’t in the VIP theater, you cannot take your drinks with you. At the bar, they have several food options, including bacon popcorn, which is delicious but very greasy. The cocktail specials are overly sweet, in my opinion, but you can order cocktails that aren’t on the menu as well. If you aren’t in the VIP theater, you have to walk all the way to the front of the building to go to the restroom, which is a bit inconvenient, as you miss more of the movie because of it.
