Founded by renowned financial authority Ken Perlmutter, PERL is celebrating its second decade as one of Chicago’s most respected independent financial institutions — and has three Chicagoland offices with over 100 employees and affiliates across the country.

2003 — PERL funded $ 1.1 billion in loans and was named #14 on the prestigious Crain’s Chicago Business List of Largest Mortgage Lenders.
2006 — National Mortgage News listed PERL as the top private correspondent lender in Illinois.

Manager
Sharbel, a private mortgage banker with PERL Mortgage, has a decade of mortgage experience. In addition to his own production, Sharbel has managed a team that has brought him priceless experience in closing loans. He is working toward his goal of being one of the nation’s top loan originators by 2016.
Sharbel knows what his clients expect of him and exceeds their expectations. He prides himself on working to continually advance his relationships with clients, whether former or current. «I love meeting new people and building long lasting relationships,» he says, «I am very big on relationship-building, and I make worthwhile introductions to people in my network every day.»
