I tried this place today for a no chip manicure after my regular place closed its doors forever. They have a TON of no chip color choices: hundreds. The swatches do not tell color or brand name, just a number. The color I chose ended up being a Gelish brand, as were the two colors my friend chose. I personally prefer Shellac, but I don’t want to nitpick. The nail tech was friendly and courteous and spoke English well. She understood what I meant when I said «round, but not too round.» The shape of my nails is perfect. I was in and out in 26 minutes flat. The color is smooth and consistent: no bubbles, no ripples. The line around my cuticles is straight. Only $ 30. I am very happy with my services and will return.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and keep coming back because these ladies are the best! Great color selection, friendly and talented staff, and clean salon! They always fit me in, do a fantastic job, and my no chip manicure lasts for 3 weeks. Great, affordable prices. I’ve been to several other small salons and continue to find my way back to Sexy Nails because there is nothing better. They take their time while also working quickly. Extremely talented staff!!!

I made an appointment for a design, told them it was complicated they said ok. Got there and was told my idea was too complicated so I asked for a snowman and some dots to represent snow. She said it wouldn’t be perfect but she could do it. She didn’t say she had no idea at all how to do it. I ended up with a jagged line instead of a snowman. She wouldn’t do anymore cuz by this point she admitted she had never done a design before. She put a top coat on and it was lumpy. Two women were rude as I told them I was disappointed and told me it was my fault. My nails are already damaged and I have been home fore 5 minutes. Will be calling to tell the manager. Also the place was not at all clean.

Best salon for acrylics and no chip… and great prices too! Very clean salon. Friendly staff who TAKE THEIR TIME with you. I have not yet found another nail salon that matches their value… and I wish I still lived near this place. These girls can do any design /​shape.

I love this place, I’ve been going here for about 3 years now. I generally get a no-​chip manicure and a spa pedicure. They keep their place clean, are very friendly and have a ton of color selections. They can also paint really cute designs. I even bring my 6 year old daughter here on occasion (this is where she got her first mani and pedi)

I’ve been going to this place for a few months. I love their no-​chip. It lasts easily 3 weeks. I usually work with Jessica or jasmine but everyone does a good job.

My regular place I get a pedicure at happens to be closed on Tuesdays and I needed to get one today before I leave town tomorrow. As I’m getting my pedicure, the girl asked me if I would like my toenails buffed, clear, or nothing. I simply told her I would like them buffed. She then proceeded to tell me it would be $ 5.00 extra. Umm, no. Since when do you charge for a nail buff? If I got clear, that’s free? Needless to say, I will not be coming back. Yes, it’s only $ 5 but it’s more of a principle thing. 1 star also because I felt as though I was rushed.

Horrible prices. $ 14 for manicure which is fine, but $ 5 if you want the shiny buff!!!
I explained to the lady doing my nails, shiny buff is pricey considering places down the street only cost 12 – 14 for it all.
She replied «Extra labor, don’t like price, go elsewhere»
And I did.

Back again and couldn’t be happier! This is my all time favorite nail salon. The ladies are so sweet and polite, want to give the customer what they want and they don’t act like they are in a rush. Such a kind and calm atmosphere and get what you are paying for… in the best way possible!

I walked in for a no chip manicure and everything about my experience was perfect. The ladies were polite, the color selection is fantastic, and the manicurist gave me the best manicure I’ve ever had. She was so careful and detailed! She took her time and did a beautiful job. I am so pleased! I really appreciate when someone takes what they do seriously and perform to a high standard. I’ll definitely be back!

I truly enjoy the services I receive here. Uni, Tina and Hannah are great! However when I get a service like mani or pedi I want to relax and forget the day. Sadly, the management feels the need to post a sign kindly asking patrons to refrain from mobile conversations during service. I think this is AWESOME! Unfortunately the «hood rat» element that frequents this great place doesn’t adhere to this policy. And don’t even think of asking the Shaniquas that come here to respect the mobile phone policy. It will erupt in a near physical altercation. Again, the services and the ladies who work here are wonderful and do everything to make your experience enjoyable. However some of the patrons can and will ruin what would otherwise be a wonderful and relaxing few hours.

I’ve always been reluctant to get no-​chip manicures but I had one done on Christmas Eve that lasted 3 weeks. I didn’t have time to go back to that salon because it’s downtown on Adams so I went to this salon. I explained to them that my last no-​chip lasted brilliantly for 3 weeks and that I wanted this one to last a long time as well. The girl who did my nails was very nice but I got my nails done on a Tuesday evening. By Thursday they had chipped.
I went back to the store today and the manager blamed me. She refused to do anything about it saying it’s my fault because I was hard on my nails. I’m a surgical nurse, I wear gloves all day. If my last no-​chip can last 3 weeks, why can’t theirs last 3 days?
I just to use this salon a long time ago and now I remember why I stopped going here.

A few days ago, my eyebrows were so out of control that if it had of been a full moon outside, I probably would’ve started howling at it. Since I’m relatively new to the area, I didn’t have a set location of where I could go to save me from my ware wolf-​ness. I proceeded just to cruise around the area and hoped that I would run into a place that could transform me back in to a human.
I found this place and was taken to a chair immediately once I told them I wanted my eyebrows done. They’d been done incorrectly before so the young lady made it a point to advise me that she noticed it and said she would do her best to correct them. Totally helpful. The shop is very clean and the workers are very professional. Glad I found this place to possibly be a regular at.

I live around the corner from this place but it is in a strip mall which kind of creeped me out, so I always went to Andersonville instead. (It’s fine, I’m judgey) But one day I was short on time and decided to just go for it, and I was impressed!
The inside of the salon looks much nicer than the outside. This isn’t a chichi place– no shoulder massages or parrafin treatments to be seen. BUT it is clean, affordable, and has a solid selection of colors and brands.
My manicure lasted two days with no chips whatsoever and made it about 4 – 5 days looking very good. That’s not a world record, but it’s perfectly acceptable in my book (I’m pretty tough on my hands) and I will certainly be back.

Was looking for a place that I could go to on a Sunday to get my nails done before flying out on Monday for vacation. Found this place on Unilocal and decided to give them a try.
Great service and a very professionally run place. Décor is nice and very clean and I love that all the technicians wear a uniform coat and name tags. Free WiFi is great as I can catch up on my TV shows online, but they do have TVs with interesting food shows on.
I like that they have real hand towels for drying your hands and that they have a ample supply of clean brushes for you to use. Unlike some nail shops were you use the same brush over and over, they have a container of clean ones and you place them in a different one when done. Love that they also have a parking lot.
This will definitely be my new place, even though there are closer shops within walking distance. Worth the 10 min drive.
