History

Established in 1990.

as Searl and Associates, Searl Lamaster Howe Architects is a full-​service architecture and design firm committed to realizing highly detailed solutions for each individual client’s needs. Each project is approached as a unique design problem, and we collaborate closely with each client, interpreting the given criteria and desired experience to produce a design solution in keeping with program needs and context.

Linda Searl — Prior to establishing her own firm in 1990, she was an Associate Architect at Nagle Hartray and Associates. Linda has designed numerous projects of varied building types. She was appointed by Mayor Richard M. Daley as a member of the Chicago Plan Commission in 1997 and Chair in 2007.

Pam Lamaster-​Millett — Pam Lamaster-​Millett has served as a project manager and designer on a variety of architectural and interior design projects. Prior to starting at Searl & Associates in 1998, she worked in Cleveland and Indianapolis on varied residential and institutional projects.

Gregory Howe — Gregory Howe has multiple years of work experience in commercial, institutional and residential projects in all phases of design and construction documentation.
