If you are like me, and you want to go to just a barbershop, this is the place. I was happy he was open on Sunday and he took me right away. He (Sam) did an excellent job, and all for $ 10 (cash only folks).

First up, this is a local business. That means a lot to me. That also means I’m rating Sam (yes, it’s Sam wielding the shears, 10 hours a day seven days a week.) as much as the haircut.
My hair ain’t nothin’ special. I mean, I care about it, but lots of people have cut it just fine. (…and lots haven’t). Sam did just what I asked him to do. Nothing schlocky about it. Clean. Even. No standouts.
Sam the man is just what I want in a barber. Dedicated to his profession and hard working. Attentive. He’s nice too.
Anytime I’m in Irving Park, whether I need my hair cut or not, I’m going to Sam’s. I know I’ll come out looking and feeling better.
