Jordyn is absolutely amazing! I have never been so happy with my blonde hair! Not to mention her lip snob collection! I will continue to go to Jordyn for all my lip and hair needs! I highly recommend you book your next appointment here!

I had been cutting my own hair for over 15 years because I could never find a stylist that would listen to how I wanted my hair to look. I finally decided to try one last time to find a professional and selected Jordyn at Salon Snob. I could not be happier! Finally, someone that listened and got it right. Jordyn is also incredibly personable and fun, I will continue to come to her for my hair, my search is finally over :).

I’ve been to 3 hair places before being referred to Jordyn by a co-​worker. I had a similar 1:1 setup at home so was happy when I learned that’s the same way Jordyn operates. She’s such a genuine, bubbly and dedicated person who always puts 100% in to everything. I love my color and it lasts me longer than any other salon I’ve been to. I recommended her to do the hair styling for my sisters wedding and it was great. She’s not the most inexpensive, but to me it’s worth it when you’re paying for quality and longevity. It’s always a great experience and I trust her completely with my hair! Definitely recommend her to new clients because she knows what she’s doing!

Incredible doesn’t even begin to describe how amazing Jordyn is! She did an amazing job cutting and styling my hair, it’s never looked better. The attention to detail and the care she dedicates to every customer is genuine. Her place is adorable, not your traditional salon but that’s what makes it amazing. She’s super bubbly and I loved spending time with her while she cut my hair. I HIGHLY recommend her!

I started going to Salon Snob last year when I was new to Chicago. In desperate need of color and a cut and based on satisfied customers high reviews on Unilocal as well as other social media sites, I decided to give Salon Snob a try. I am so glad that I did!
Saying that Jordyn does a phenomenal job is an understatement. She’s elite. I’ve been highlighting and coloring my hair for 15 years. I’ve frequented top salons in NYC and no one has ever done as beautiful of a job as Jordyn does. She is not happy unless her customer is happy. She takes great pride in her craft and her work reflects that. She is an absolute doll and the entire salon experience is fun. It’s like chatting with an old friend while I wait for my color to process. Her salon is neat, clean, cozy, quaint, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. She plays great music and even offers a variety of beverages. (And the sink has the most comfortable neck rest I’ve ever used.)
If and when I move back to New York, I’ve already decided that I’ll come back to Chicago for long weekends and hair appointments at Salon Snob. When you find a gem, you hold onto it tightly!

Love my new haircut! Jordyn did a fantastic job. I went in to get 7 inches cut off and left with a medium layered bob (Jordyn was even able to donate my hair for me!). Cameron and Jordyn are both super fun and personable, which made the overall haircut an even better experience. I felt like I was hanging out with some friends… while getting my hair cut haha. I’m glad I went to Jordyn for such an extreme haircut, she definitely knows what she’s doing!

I walked into Salon Snob with not knowing what to expect. I opened the door to my own personal boutique salon. Super amazing. Jordyn’s set up made me feel so special. I love that there weren’t any other stylists and extra noise a larger Salon can make. Jordyn took the time to look through my hair and give me recommendations on all over color and partial highlights with a cut. I told her I wanted to go brighter and blonder for the summer. She perfected my color. I seriously have never had a blond color that looks so natural and complements my skin tone the way she has perfected it, is amazing. The trim was perfect. Just enough and not too much (unlike my last stylist). Jordyn really takes the time to get to know you as her client. Her personality is extremley fun and bubbly. Her product line is GK. This is the first time I have used it and in my opinion is way better than any other Salon product I have used. My hair is so soft. I received 5 compliments within a few hours of seeing her. I’m extremley impressed and will continue to come back! Oh– scheduling is super easy and I love the reminder I get! Thanks Jordyn!

Jordyn did an amazing job cutting and styling my hair. I left her salon feeling great, my hair looked healthier and beautiful. Jordyn was able to fix my hair after a few past cuts at other places left it looking less than perfect. I’m very happy with how my hair turned out and I had a great time getting glammed up and chatting with Jordyn. I definitely recommend making an appointment!

I debated before writing this review, but decided that as a loyal Unilocaler that I couldn’t just let this go as much as it sucks to have to write it.
Disclaimer: Jordyn did NOT do my hair or makeup and I think that’s where the problems arose.
I made an appointment online through an automated system that is clearly flawed. It sent me 1000 text messages and emails before I’d even gotten close to my appointment time, never mind the day of. Just too many. Then the times for my makeup got mixed up and caused stress, but it was fixed fairly easily.
I showed up and met the vibrant and bubbly Jordyn and wished I had known more about this place so I could have made a better decision. I definitely would have gone with her doing everything. She’s put together and just gorgeous.
I had an appointment to have makeup/​hair done for a very important photo shoot/​event the day of. I was paired with Madison for makeup and Camrin for hair.
I walked in and had to find this little bitty room of a salon. Not typical at all and had I known that this was the way it was set up I definitely would have made a different choice. My mistake.
Camrin and Madison were both the sweetest. I really loved their outgoing personalities and how kind and accommodating they were.
I had made an appointment for a blowout with Camrin but when I sat down and got ready to have it done she pulls out these HUGE rollers. I have never in my life gotten a blowout with rollers. I expressed my hesitation and said that wasn’t what I was looking for but was assured it would be fine. I showed her a picture of what I wanted with curls and was told she could do that. Camrin would blow out tiny sections of hair, one at a time, and then put a roller in. My roots are curly and she wasn’t really getting those. It was really not a blowout. Then she gave me the curls I asked for and they doubled the cost of my blowout, but they didn’t tell me until it was already done. I wouldn’t have paid $ 55 for someone to curl my hair. My blowouts in NYC (that I get twice a week) are the same price whether I blow it straight, have it flat ironed, or curled. This was a VERY overpriced hairstyle. It also lasted one day. When I slept on it all the curls came out. It wasn’t worth what I paid for it.
I don’t really want to get into the mess that was made of my makeup. Madison was clearly very new to this. My makeup was horrible and I had to do it all myself for my photo shoot. She used drug store products and was just not good at it. I was devastated.
Jordyn did apologize and refund my makeup (rightfully so, it was awful), but charged me for the blowout and curl that didn’t stay.
I wish I had never come here, it really ruined my photo shoot and event. I agree that Jordyn probably does do a good job, unfortunately the people she hires to work for her don’t.

Let me start off by saying I never write reviews and have never been loyal to just one hairstylist… until I experienced Salon! It was pure luck that I tried a Groupon deal with Salon Snob, looking to get a good deal and a quick trim. Jordyn is hands down the best stylist I’ve ever had (oh, did I mention I lived in Manhattan and used to get my hair done there?!) Not only is she extremely talented at what she does but she goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and completely satisfied with your overall experience. I’ve gone to her for cuts and color and am always amazed that I can show her a picture or even explain what I’m thinking and she always does what I want and makes sure it’s what I want throughout the entire appointment. I love her and I would follow her to any location! Of course I’m not the only one that thinks she’s amazing, so book her in advance! I never leave my appointments without booking my next one! Thanks Jordyn!!!

What can I say… I’ve just got in from having my hair done by Jordyn and I absolutely love it! I tried highlighting my own hair at home and pretty much ruined it :(I phoned around to different hair salons in the Chicago area and just couldn’t find a reasonably priced place. Until I phoned salon snob and just from the phone call I received such a pleasant aura. Jordyn is so polite and nice that I was instantly sold. She’s an amazing stylist and I’m glad I found her, she’s done an amazing job and fixed my hair just how I imagined… I’ll definitely be returning! Being from the UK and in the process of moving out to Chicago, I think I’ve found a new friend as well as a new stylist :) Thank you Jordyn :) *big kisses* x x x

Jordyn is one of the most creative and personable people I know and was the only one who could help me manage my helmet head with the right cut and frizz with the right blow out. She uses the healthiest products and is as honest as your mother in law but you will feel like you have a fairy godmother when you leave. You will not be disappointed!

I absolutely LOVED Jordyn! She gave me an amazing cut that made my long thin-​ish hair seem fuller and gave it so much movement. She was also a blast to chat with. I’ve never felt the need to go to the same hair stylist, but I think Jordyn has changed my mind and I look forward to my next haircut!

Had a great first time experience! Not only did she blend out the issues left behind from my previous haircut, but she made it look ten times better! Jordyn’s super professional, friendly, and goes the extra mile to make her clients feel and look amazing! I will definitely be going back to her again.

Jordyn is the BEST! Not only is she an amazing sytlist but she has personality to boot. Wish I could give her more than five stars. Seriously.

I won’t trust anyone with my hair from now on! Jordyn is a hair wizard. I got EXACTLY what I had in mind, plus a very pleasant experience with a super cool lady. She only takes one client at a time, which makes it very personal and custom. You’re not shouting at a stylist over 3 other blow dryers and stylists/​customers. Such a good experience, even better hair stylist.

Really awesome experience. Jordyn is so passionate about her job and is super nice and helpful about hair care and anything else! I used a Groupon and got a really good haircut here. The GK hair products she offered were especially great and so reasonably priced, I will most definitely return for them.

I don’t understand why this place doesn’t have any reviews for haircuts, coz Jordyn is awesome at styling!
I bought a Groupon to this place when I was looking to get a haircut. I was sold when I saw the reviews and the proximity to my apt (just a couple of blocks away!). Jordyn was amazing although I was 5 – 10 mins late to my appt. She is super friendly, really personable and I didn’t even realize how time flew by! We did 5 mins of consulting before we got to it since she wanted to know what I was looking for and I wanted her opinion and input about the same. Once we had «the look» decided, we just ended up chatting the whole time while she cut and styled my hair. And the end product was just what I wanted-​in terms of length and style (something others haven’t quite been successful at).
The real test though was when I washed my hair and set my hair (just a regular blowdry), it was just what I wanted. I would like to mention this specifically since in my experience, and it might just be me, but every time I come out of a salon, I am pleased with my haircut and style but the minute I wash and blowdry my hair, I can never ever get it to look like it did the time of the haircut. Not this time. I got and continue to get the look I wanted and got when I left her salon space. THAT’S the level of expertise and skill that you’ll get with Jordyn.
I would TOTALLY RECOMMEND Jordyn. YOU ROCK!

Finally! A stylist who has it all!
After leaving my beloved hair stylist in Minneapolis, and moving to Chicago I was on the hunt for a stylist who not only was the best at what they did, but also made their clients feel welcomed in a clean environment. Well Jordyn Daniels has exceeded all my expectations!
I walked into Snob Salon ready for a subtle change and something to make me feel revitalized. Jordyn’s color job was suburb. I left with a gorgeous color, earning an instant, «I love your hair,» from my husband. Also, I have to mention that my hair had shine that could be seen for miles. In addition to her amazing styling and color skills, Jordyn is an absolute pleasure to be around– she is upbeat and friendly making you feel like a truly valued client. I am so thrilled that I found Jordyn, and I plan to make many returns to Snob Salon.

I LOVE this girl! She does amazing work. I scheduled a blow-​out – and she told me about a makeup application promo that she was running as well. So, I got that done, too. Let me tell you, this girl is a real stylist. I just moved here a couple months ago and I couldn’t imagine going to anyone else now! My hair looked amazing, and my makeup was flawless. I got compliments all night long.
Other awesome side notes: it’s her own private room – so you don’t have to hear tons of other people. She offers bottled water and magazines-(good ones, too) She uses great hair products. And she’s incredibly sweet and easy to talk to.
