Matt was wonderful. Rob was very nice. Stephanie was very good at being business savvy but lacked polish. Typically agents drive you around, we always had to find her. We liked her general approach, but at times she was straight up argumentative. She never understood that while we had «preferences» for the right place we’d forgo things for the right place/​location/​etc — we’d request to see places and she’d basically push back on why we shouldn’t see it – regardless if we asked multiple times. It got uncomfortable many times. We were renting our place in a lease that was going to drag on into the next year… we decided to find a subleaser so we could get a temporary rental and be more month-​to-​month; that way if we found a place we loved we would be able to close without concern on paying excessive rent/​deposit loss/​fees. (on top of a impending mortgage and taxes etc). Also I was expecting a baby — and we knew no matter what we’d need a bigger place in the interim. So we posted our place on social media — in hopes of finding someone to sublease our place. Meanwhile we got a nasty email from Stephanie accusing us of basically moving and not telling her; and she copied in other people including our financial lender. vs. simply asking us what was up (just to be sure). She then called the lawyer we’d previously used on a property and told him we’d moved as well — essentially asking him to bill us for his fee now; when that fee was to be used on a future property. But she reported we’d already moved therefore we’d not be using his services for a future move (which was 100% untrue). She essentially went nuclear vs just asking us why we were looking for a subleaser. In addition to that, she was at times lazy in her communication. In both our previous experiences realtors/​brokers were always begging to show places; really excited to get out there. We would have to email her requesting to see places (again often only to often get push back). Also, we could notify her we were interested in seeing a place hoping for some options (dates/​times to go see it) we’d even ask «what are some times/​dates we can see it», and instead she’d just schedule it and then insist we be available (this happened multiple times). In addition to that we decided to use a referral of Stephanie’s for possible construction, a really nice guy… meanwhile we were all waiting on him to give us the quote of the work (because it affected the amount we would bid on a house — if at all). Days went by with no word… (after swearing he’d let us know that day)… we were then told by Stephanie we should be contacting him? (even though we were NEVER given his contact information). She had it and we told her multiple times we hadn’t heard from her guy. Rather than just reaching out to him and asking him to contact us since: a) he said he would b) he had our contact information c) he was her contact and not following up made her look bad) — she just kept emailing us to contact him (multiple times)… between all her emails telling us to chase him down; she couldn’t just sent him ONE note. Eventually after days of this; she finally texted him and gave us his contact info. When we finally got hold of him; he made it very clear he’d never put together an estimate — and only remembered to do so after Stephanie had texted him. All in all, Stephanie is a good person (no question) but her style is very specific to being rushed/​unpolished/​and very temperamental. — and she had a «hard sell» mentality. As often as she’d argue why we should not see a place she’d show us places that didn’t fit our criteria sometimes at all. We were referred to Stephanie by a good friend — and we didn’t bother to look into other agents (which is our mistake). We had previously used other agents for other projects and had positive experiences… this was unfortunate.

Wow, Stephanie, Sadoff Property Group, is awesome! And, she has a team behind her that is awesome as well, meaning Matthew Roe in particular and others. Stephanie sold our home in Naperville, I believe it was 3 or 4 weeks. Much of the success was due to her «staging» of our home along with it being a great property. She then went about finding us property where we wanted to move and she diligently search properties out that she knew we would be interested in. We are very picky… and she kept at it and found us our perfect home. Outstanding performer in all aspects of being a Realtor! Is she and her team professional… wow, is there something above being professional, there should be because she’s way up there!

We interviewed a number of agents to sell our existing house, and help with a purchase of a new family home. Stephanie and Rob impressed us from our first meeting with them, and didn’t disappoint. They were the only ones who approached it like a relationship; came prepared to discuss our sale, provided information and listings in the areas we were interested in, and interacted with our children. For our sale, they understood our prices in our neighborhood (and even our block) and were able to point out factors that we had that would help us, and potential obstacles. For our purchase, they would continually challenge us with ideas to help us think outside of the box, but accepted our perspectives whether we agreed or disagreed. When it came to the negotiation (on either side), they fought hard to get us the best prices. We couldn’t be happier with them!

Stephanie and Rob were great to work with and helped us find our perfect home in Chicago! Before we started the search, Stephanie and Rob took the time to meet with us to understand our needs in a home. They really helped steer us in the right direction and we couldn’t be happier with the home we purchased. They know the Chicago market very well and have in dept knowledge into the construction and maintenance of homes to make sure you are not buying into a money pit.
