Henry and Randy were my trainers. I lost 5lbs thanks to them pushing me. They gave great advice and outstanding professionalism. Thank you fellas for helping my back pain go away.

The facility has been open for about a week, and I’ve been enjoying it a lot so far. It hasn’t been all that busy when I’ve gone, which is really nice. You need to have your ID badge to swipe into the gym, and then swipe again at the front desk. Lately, they’ve had free bottles of water there! There are a lot of lockers in the lobby area if you don’t need to change/shower before/after working out. The locker rooms are pretty nice. They have two different types of lockers which you can set your own combinations to: touchpad ones, and scrolling ones. They’re kind of weird, but the staff will happily help you if you lock yourself out of your locker! There are also three bathroom stalls and a vanity area with two hair dryers. There are fullsized towels in the locker room, and they’re great for showering, but a little too bulky/big if you want to wipe sweat off with them. If they had two sizes, one for showers, one for sweat, I’d be super happy. Right now, I’m happy that their towels cover my body when I step out of the shower. So many gyms I’ve gone to provide towels that would cover a toddler’s body and not much else. There are six showers, each with a separate changing partition. It has one generic hook, which holds a towel or two. The showers have foaming body wash and ‘conditioning shampoo’ dispensers, so you can balance your legit shower toiletries on top of those. The shower head has two settings, which is nice. The gym hasn’t been busy where I’ve seen anyone waiting for a shower to free up. I wish that there would be a shelf or another hook in either area for people to put their toiletries/clothing. I think adding an extra trashcan might be nice near the showers, so I can dispose of all the hair I shed during my shower. The treadmills, ellipticals and bicycles have: HDTV(seriously), Apps, Web Browsers(I posted to facebook), «Courses»(you can pretend you’re hiking a specific trail), and iPhone 4, micro and regular USB plugs(charge up that phone while you charge yo muscles!). You can create a LifeTime account and sync your apps/fitbit to your workouts. There are plenty machines and free weights available. They also have classes Monday through Friday, up to six times a day. I haven’t tried any yet, but they seem popular enough. The price is okay considering the convenience of everything. The gym is really nice, but my YMCA membership was only a few dollars more and it had access to a running track, basketball court, spinning classes, pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Did I use any of those? No, not really, but I had the *option* to. It’s far more convenient than any other gym, so I don’t really miss any of those ‘amenities’.

Great new facility, one of the few in the area. Long awaited gym for Rush which until now really had no exercise facility for at least the decade I have been working there. A basic neighborhood type gym with plenty of aerobic equipment, basic weight arrangements, and a classroom. Only open for Rush affiliated folks for a monthly fee and options for personal training. Ideally Rush would have a free facility for employees but now we have something.
