This place is beyond creepy! I received my third anonymous letter in the mail from what I assume is their ill-​contrived and ridiculous advertising department. Stop sending me mail or else!!! I made sure to spread the word about you and make sure no one ever spends a dime at your sorry excuse of a business.

Please stop mailing me your newspaper ads with post it notes attached and no return address. This is some of the shittiest and most off putting marketing I’ve ever encountered.

Came here today had a appointment over 2 weeks ago by Frank, and today Joe in service says, why would you bring this here, we are Chevy we don’t have parts for this thing. I said why would Frank give me a appointment over 2 weeks ago if you didn’t service Dodge?. So I got off work early thinking I was going to get my truck serviced which I had a appointment for and Joe turned me away total waste of time. Really wasted my time. Frank should have told me and I would have went to a Dodge place early this morning instead of coming here.

Here is the deal folks: When things go good, and the dealer does a good job, and gives you a great price… attaining 5 stars is easy. Rogers executed highly on all levels and deserved 5 stars.
My review is a little deeper though: What if things go bad? Does the Dealership step up? ROGERS DID! I purchased a brand new vehicle, and after driving it for 1,000 miles… experienced some problems. Wally and the rest of the Management Team at Rogers, helped me arrange an exchange with GM for another brand new car!
I am sure many other dealers would have shied away from the issue, but the Team at Rogers stepped up to the plate. The icing on the cake, was I received an even BETTER interest rate on the next car.
These guys took care of me… and I appreciate it. If you are buying ANY GM Car… this is the place to go.

Best car-​buying experience ever! Walked out with a car 2.5 hours after I came in, just as it should be. They found me financing, even for my –ahem– less than ideal credit. Ended up with a car I really love, that has everything i could have wanted in a car and more (a Chevy Trax, a small SUV). Mike Echeuarria was my sales guy, couldn’t be nicer. They have an insurance salesman in the building so you don’t have to risk driving off the lot uninsured. Best part of all, a week after I bought the car, Mike called me back and told me that the finance department had gone back and brokered a different financing deal for me, effectively knocking $ 60/​month off of my payments! Who DOES that?! Completely amazing. I am so thankful I found them!

Just like Jessica P mentioned below, I also received a letter in the mail with the same message on the post it note. After receiving this letter in the mail I thought I’d tell my friend to check it out so we both went out there together. My friend and I both went to check the place out. May I mind you we are both young (20 and 22) and we are just barley building our credit. The ad in the newspaper clearly said «No credit, Bad Credit, First Time Buyer» the newspaper ad also states «$ 29 down with payments as low as $ 182 per month!» That was falsly advertised. They ran my friends credit and told her she didn’t have enough credit to apply for a car and would need a co-​signer. I volunteered to co-​sign for her and they told me that still wasn’t enough. I then asked the man attending us who was very rude and attempted to argue with me said that we needed good credit to buy a car and needed a monthly income of over $ 4000. If thats the case which I know its not, they shouldn’t be advertising their dealership the way they do. They wasted our time and the man very rude to us which by the way started reading out loud what was showing up on our credit score. Not that my friend and I cared or anything because we’re BFF’s but to a lot of people their credit score is very personal and private. I would not recommend EVER getting a car from here. These advertisements they send out are scams!

As always Sean in service is awesome! I have no words for how great he is and takes such good care of us.

If I could give this group negative start, I would. What is the deal with the SUPER creepy direct mail? Handwritten, financials on the back page, no return address and nothing to indicate this was an advertisement. I spent the better portion of the day freaked out that this was some kind of sick warning until I discovered the fellow Unilocalers who experienced the same thing.
I called the company to complain and got their «it’s our ad agency» excuse. Bull$hit, this dates back to at least Nov of 2014. You could have have shut it down by now. Then they had the nerve to ask me to calm down, so that they can get my address (which apparently you already have btw) so that they can offer me a deal for my troubles. Are you kidding me???
BBB complaint has been filed.

My 21-​year old daughter received one of the creepy solicitation letters, too, from Rogers Auto Group. It was hand-​addressed to her with no return address. Included was the supposed tear sheet from a local newspaper titled «CREDIT FORGIVENESS SALE IS BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND…» With a hand-​written yellow sticky note saying: «[Name], Check this out! –J».
What reputable business uses marketing techniques like this? It was very upsetting for her to receive such a strange correspondence, and wondered if we need to have it checked for anthrax or something similarly ominous. My wife said: «Why would ANYONE think this was a good idea?»

After my last visit, I made the mistake of going with another dealership for a car. After my lease was up, I was expecting to be taken care of since I returned the car with hardly any miles and in perfect condition. I was wrong. After being quoted with a ridiculous price for a new lease ($ 400 per month for a $ 22,000 car) I immediately called Wally at Rogers. He told me flat out that they were taking advantage of me and to come in the next day and see him.
I came in on Saturday, which is the busiest day to buy a car, and I was immediately taken care of like I was in a hotel. The team at Rogers let me test drive a handful of cars and didn’t force me to get the most expensive ones. When I decided on the model I wanted, in about 15 minutes I was told what my payments would be. They beat the old dealership handily for a car that was far more expensive. I was seriously shocked when I saw what the payment was for what I was getting.
This is the most important thing about Rogers: they take care of their customers. My family has now been going there for 7 years and I will never make the mistake again of going to a different dealership.

I bought a Hyundai Sonata 2015 limited car from Rogers Auto Group. The car is really nice! And thanks for sales consultant Mr Dodie Manaloto explaining everything for me and my parents. He is so patient and humorous！You feel relaxed talking with him. I bought the car today and drove it home. Everything is perfect! If you want to buy a car, come to Rogers Auto Group and call Mr Dodie!

This update is for the service department. We had several disappointing experiences there, but our last one was the tipping point. We took our car in for an oil change, some weird condensation inside our car, and because they messed up our wiring the previous visit so that the radio and cd player randomly flickered on and off. I dropped it off and was told I would have a call that afternoon.
They kept our car for a week with no communication at all. I called every day to check, and would never get called back after leaving multiple messages with three people and spending a lot of time on hold. Finally I asked for a manager, and he was able to help get my answers and arrange for my car to be brought to me at work. He was very nice.
When I finally got my car back after one full week, they were unable to fix anything, and didn’t even do the oil change! We took our car to Grossinger instead, and they were quick, communicative, and able to get the work done. I will never use Rogers for service again.
P. S. They constantly email service reminders and other things to me, but the unsuscribe link conveniently doesn’t work. So annoying.

It looks like I’m not the only one that this has happened to. Today I received a creepy ad in the mail. Handwritten, no return address, with what looks like a torn out page of a newspaper with a post-​it note that simply says «Jessica, Check this out! –J».
If your thought process was, «any publicity is good publicity,» you were so mistaken. Yes, people will talk about this SPAM stunt, but I do not feel compelled to buy a car from you, I only feel personally violated. For your own sake, please do not continue do this.

My last review was removed because it was «not relevant to a consumer experience».
I beg to differ. My consumer experience was Rogers auto group sending my girlfriend a newspaper clipping with a handwritten post it note that said «Ashley, you should check this out.

That’s a pretty creepy consumer experience. Being sent snail mail with no return address and a handwritten note with a newspaper cutout. I’m glad you have such shady practices. The funny thing is now we are in the market for a new car, but there’s no way we are going because our Last «CONSUMER EXPERIENCE» was so terrible.

The repair service here is good when you get your car in to be repaired. The processing and wait to get your car to their mechanics and out of the shop is long and unprofessional due to inefficiencies.
I scheduled a 11am appointment and couldn’t get my vehicle processed till 12pm because I had to wait in line behind the other «scheduled» customers. If I had to get back to work based on the scheduled time I would not have made it. Scheduling should help me avoid the wait unscheduled customers should endure. Getting my car back took another hour for warrantied work (I didn’t have to pay for anything but had to wait for a cashier to figure this out).
More than this the service manager told me he would sue me for advising the other frustrated customers to Unilocal their experiences. This customer service example should be considered when deciding which dealership to do business with.
However, the mechanics were great. I can ask them questions and they do the best they can to help me understand the whats and whys around my car problems.
Management needs to make the processing of service tickets more efficient. Keep your schedule promises!
You’ve Been Warned (so sue my free speech)

This will be my last and final review of Rogers Auto Group — because I’m never going back.
After the last clustereff that was me waiting 2+ hours for my car that wasn’t going to be serviced because of internet connections between GM and Rogers (and no one communicating that to me), I rescheduled my appointment for 8 a.m. yesterday.
I arrived at 7:55 a.m. to drop my car off and waited about 15 minutes before Sean (the only good thing Rogers has going for it, honestly, is this guy) saw me. Where is everyone else? What is everyone else doing when there’s a line — literally — out the door for appointments (see photos)? Why is there ONE GUY working his butt off and no one else to be found?
Sean squared me away with my 15,000-mile service, two recalls and a burned-​out taillight. I wanted to take the shuttle service they have but I wasn’t asked if I wanted that, didn’t feel like waiting any longer at this place, so I took the bus to work instead.
2:35 p.m. rolled around and I still hadn’t heard from Rogers… so I called and left a message for Sean asking for the status of my car’s servicing. He said it was up on the risers then and it would be done shortly. Sadly, I never got a call back saying it was done, but I went at 4:30 p.m. anyway, because by then, it HAD to be done.
Normally, when you’re serviced at Rogers, you get a car wash after your servicing. Not this time (see pics.) I spent $ 137+ there and the one ‘freebie’ they typically throw in, wasn’t thrown in.
Despite my 15,000 mile checkup including tire rotation and tire PSI levels supposedly being checked, my tires were all under-​inflated (in the same state I took them into the service shop — resting at 30 – 34 PSI when they should be around 40 – 44 PSI.) So, I took my own car to the car wash and got that done and added air to my own tires last night.
But what really got me is the survey they stapled to my receipt. Pictures below. It’s already filled out — highlighted, even — with all the highest rankings possible. WTF? Even more mind boggling is that where it says my user ID and Password should be, there are just XXXXXs. So, it’s pointless because even if I did send this in, they wouldn’t be able to track it to me, my car or my service technician. What’s the point? What kind of sham-​ass operation is this?
So. Again. Avoid this place — especially the service department. I tried to come only to the service department of my dealership so when I get rid of the car, I’d have the «best» service record available. But the waiting, the half-​performed service, the lack of communication and then this bogus survey are enough for me to avoid Rogers like the Plague. I will also be touching base with this survey company to inform them of Rogers’ faux responses already filled in.
I will never buy or lease a car from here again let alone bring my car in to be serviced here. All that said — Sean deserves props for being fast, courteous, and apparently the only member of the team that hustles. Kudos to him.

Bought my current car from here 8 years ago as I used to live around the corner from the joint. I recall the staff here being really cool and entertaining.
I recently got a letter in the mail saying that GM had a recall on my vehicle and to schedule some time to get it straightened out. I figured I would go to where it all started. They took care of the situation in a quick manner and I was on my way. I had a chance to chat with some of the guys here and even though some of the personnel has changed it is still a cool environment that sells really nice cars.
If I am in the market for a car again, I would check in with them.

I would give 0 stars if I could. My experience resulted in an unsafe vehicle that stranded me and my three year old daughter less than 24 hours after picking up our vehicle from the service department. I blame Derrick the service writer and the Service Manager that allows this department to be run so poorly. They either do not care or they are incompetent
Our vehicle broke down and I had Chevrolet roadside tow it here on a Friday night. After multiple calls on Saturday, I was told that Derrick would be handling. This was not good news as previous encounters with him have never resulted in positive results. This was after many phone calls just trying to get through their switchboard. Derrick told me that they would look at it on Monday and he would call me back. I explained what the issue was and that it was most likely the fuel pump on the fuel float.
We did not get a call back on Monday and we attempted to call many times on Monday and Tuesday. So many of the calls could not get past Roger’s switchboard. Many messages were left for Derrick. Finally my wife left a nasty message for the Service Manager Tuesday evening.
That nasty call, resulted in Derrick finally calling us back on Wednesday. He said nothing was wrong with the car and they completed some recall work. He said the tech brought it in and could find nothing wrong with it.
I picked up the car that night and drove it on Thursday. Thursday night while with my three year old daughter the car, it did exactly the same exact thing. No start due to no fuel getting to the engine. It left me and her in a very bad situation late at night.
I towed it to another dealer in Chicago. I explained what I thought it was and they had a tech actual look into the issue. It had no pressure in the fuel line, because the fuel pump was bad. They repaired it in 12 hours with no problems for the same exact issue Rodgers could not be bothered with.
What’s even more ridicules is that I was called on Friday by one of their Customer Service Reps who asked «how was your experience with your recall work» I explained that the car was there for other repairs that were not completed and the work was now being completed at another Chevrolet dealer, after breaking down again. He acted concern and confirmed he has no notes on the fuel issues.
With some many other dealers in the area, avoid this place.

Bought our brand new Hyundai Santa Fe from Ben English. He’s very patient, informative, kind, and didn’t pressure us at all. We did a test drive about 2 months before actually purchasing, and he still remembered us! We felt comfortable with Ben, we knew he wasn’t trying to rip us off and was very supportive in our long decision-​making process (we spent over an hour going back and forth outside the dealership deciding whether we wanted to buy).
In the end, we bargained our way through an absolutely amazing deal with our new car and haven’t looked back since! We’ve had the SUV for over a year now and couldn’t be happier with our purchase. Absolutely NO problems and great mileage! They also give a complimentary oil change and car wash if you buy your vehicle from here. Thank you again, Ben English! This is definitely the best vehicle we’ve bought for the best price possible.

I took my car in, it’s an older car, worked with Jamie in service, his professionalism and knowledge is above and beyond. He was able to walk me through the steps and get my car back to me at the time he quoted. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, kudos to Jamie for being such a gentleman.
