Our new home, Green Paws Chicago, specializes in providing dog walks as part of a complete health-​and-​hygiene regimen called «TotalCare»; much more than walks, TotalCare encompasses ear cleanings, teeth brushing, flea-​and-​tick preventative, and weekly de-​sheddings. Of course, if all your dog needs is walks, they can do that too.

In addition to walks and TotalCare, Green Paws also provides both forms of cage-​free overnight care: in-​home sitting and single-​family boarding. Pet taxi service is also available and the Green Paws staff is more than happy to make cat visits for your feline friends as well.

History

Established in 2003.

Rex In The City was established by Jodi Eggers in 2003. When Jodi decided to leave the pet services industry in 2012, she chose Green Paws Chicago, LLC to become the home for her clients, their pets and her staff. Manager

Jodi has been involved with pets her entire life, first as a «parent to parakeets, frogs, hamsters, baby ducks, rabbits and dogs» and more recently as a career. Jodi has worked as a veterinary technician assistant at an animal hospital, a publicist for pet industry clients before founding her own pet care business which was acquired by Green Paws Chicago. Bottom line: Jodi understands the importance to both pets and their owners of keeping dogs and cats as healthy and happy as possible. «My mission as a neighborhood manager is to make sure our team provides our furry clients the care, love and attention they deserve,» she says.
