I personally love Red Mango frozen yogurt and I live in the neighborhood but I will not be going back to this particular Red Mango because of their poor customer service. I believe the man who has been very rude to me each time I go is the manager or possibly the owner. Regardless, without fail he manages to make purchasing frozen yogurt an unenjoyable experience.

All that is good on the world can be found here. Tasty treats, very pleasant small-biz owner, a big screen TV, free samples, fresh fruit, generous seating, 80s remixes. Park in the Mariano’s lot… its legal!

So disappointed. :(It was my favorite froyo out in LA until they all got shut down and dominated by pinkberrys and yougurtlands. So when I saw it on my visit out to chicago, I was beyond excited. Unfortunately, to my disappointment, The self serve original(the only one i get) was runny and not firm. So I opted into getting a smoothie instead and was pretty disappointed as well. It was just water and way too sugary.

Fresh ingredients, good frozen yogurt, and staff is always friendly. It’s easy not to notice it but once you try it you’ll keep going back

I came here to pick up some froyo after working out. The store was pretty busy because it was a warm day, there were plenty of kids and parents in the store. The people working there greeted me when i walked in, and asked if I had been in there before. I thought that was kind of them. I grabbed a few samples to test out what I wanted. I ended up with the mango passionfruit, chocolate, cake batter, and vanilla. The fruity flavors here dont taste artificial at all, which I really enjoyed. They have a large variety of toppings which i skipped because i didn’t feel like waiting in line. Total ended up being $ 5, which I think is appropriate for the location and quality. Parking here is a bi*tch … I do wish that they used biodegradable compo stable spoons though…

I walk in here with my work attire, I’m greeted by a very nice girl. She makes my shake. She hands the shake to who I believe was the manager or owner of the store(maybe not). He then hands me my shake and then very disrespectfully decides to only say«hey I hate where you work.» Nothing else. Thought I would start coming here more often. Nevermind.

I’ve been walking by this place for the past year and never bothered to go in. Having lived in Evanston previously, I used to frequent the Red Mango there but the options were limited(you only got to pick from 3 flavors). I go into this West Loop one and I am greeted by one of the friendliest faces I have ever seen. The gentleman excitedly showed me the self-serve operation since I originally expected the boring 3 flavor treatment. There were 12FLAVORS to choose from. My fiancée and I were over the moon! The owner recommended the Mango Fro-Yo since it was his favorite and I have to say that it was quite delicious. I topped it up with chopped mangoes and strawberries which go so well together. If you like Mango Lassi, you’ll love it! My significant other went for Peach, which was also quite good. As yummy as the fro-yo was, it was the amazing customer service at this establishment that will make me go there at least once a week from now on.

I came in today around two pm. The guy behind the register was so extremely friendly and engaging. He encouraged me to try the new flavors(I must come back for the peanut butter and nutella). I love that it’s self serve here and they have so many flavors and toppings. I plan on being here a lot. :)

Not a huge selection of toppings but I was happy with what was there. Very friendly man behind the counter(owner?) and delicious selection of frozen yogurt. Try the taro! It’s delicious with the lychee poppers

EDITED The manager messaged me and assured me that their price is standard for Chicago, so I’ll give a star for that. He was also said they usually have 12 flavors. He was very polite and apologized, despite my rude review. ORIGINAL(1 star) I have no idea how this place has 5 stars. The flavors we’re limited. The frozen yogurt was either icy or soupy. And it was extremely overpriced.

I Love Red Mango! They have so many yogurt flavors, fresh tasty toppings, and it’s self serve! Today they had pomegranate seeds and many more boba flavors! The lychee and strawberry are my favorite! The staff is so friendly and they remember me and their other clients. It’s the perfect place for families, couples or an individual to go for a tasty treat be it healthy or decadent!

My go to and favorite Froyo spot. This Red Mango location is great, it is less than 5 minutes from UIC campus, and is walking distance from the Halsted Blue Line. I’m craving their Froyo as I’m writing this review. Red Mango is a self serve Froyo spot and has a wide variety of Froyo flavors. They allow sampling of flavors which is great, you get to test out the different flavors before actually making your own Froyo Cup. I highly recommend the Taro and Mango, delicious;great combination. My favorite thing about Red Mango is their toppings bar … they have everything that you can think of and want as a topping on froyo. Highlights are a huge variety of fresh fruits, MOCHI, MOCHI, MOCHI, popping Mochi, cookies and crème, and a wide variety of mini chocolates. Their customer service here is great, very friendly and welcoming workers. My past experiences here have been no less than perfect. I highly recommend Red Mango.

The flavors and service here are great! It is close to my home, they have a parking garage and they have some great flavors that you can’t find anywhere. They have a nutella one and they recently got pumpkin spice! My two favorites. The stations are very clean, they have a tv inside and the décor is modern. Great to have a good froyo place in town!

Hi, all. Alicia here, the mayor of Red Mango West Loop. You probably know me from… being that girl who is always at Red Mango West Loop. Yep. I go probably 3 times a week simply because I’ve lived in the west loop and have been waiting for Red Mango for almost a year, and I have to make up for lost time! Actually, the real reason why I go is because it is self-serve, the toppings are amazing and the staff knows my name(because I told you, I’m the mayor). I also love that they have fruit flavored yogurts for my weird health conscious husband. I always get red velvet, cake batter, and the chocolate Nutella type. The next time the staff asks me if I always plan to get the same yogurt with the same toppings, I will ask them why they’re questioning the mayor! Pinkberry can be stingy with toppings. Let me serve myself! I want some toppings with every bite ! Take notes, Pinkberry. Sheesh. I’ve also been to Pinkberry while the manager said aloud«I hate my job and it makes me sad.» Um, I don’t want your non-self-serve yogurt now since you hate your job! Just kidding, I totally ordered some, but it wasn’t as good as Red Mango. Anyway. I digress. Really all I need in life is self-serve froyo. I wouldn’t care if the staff yelled at me and told me that I fail at life every time I walked in, because what they’re offering me self-serve froyo. See you tomorrow, Red Mango West Loop!

This was my first time here and now I’m in love! I «sampled» a few flavors and ultimately went with: white peach, piña colada and pomegranate. All three were equally amazing! The icing on the cake was when we were at the register and I was finally able to hear the music they were playing(Joe). That was a treat in and of itself for the Queen of RnB that I am.

They claim, «best frozen yogurts,» I stand behind that claim… frozen yogurt has always been a hit over ice cream for me for many different reasons… when red mango opened it definitely is a hit and yes I can honestly say best frozen yogurt!

Fro-Yo comes to the West Loop. Stopped in over the weekend to this recently opened location. The store is bright, clean and self serve. Sadly, I was stuck behind a family of sample abusers that were determined to try every damn flavor there was. I’ll let Larry David handle that Once they were clear I decided on my trifecta combo of Peanut Butter, White Peach and Pina Colada. I passed on the wide range of tempting and well labeled toppings and just went au natural. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I like to see that in a new store and our neighborhood needed something just like this. Red Mango is also conveniently located just a few blocks from Heritage Green Park(across from Old Saint Pat’s) and Mary Bartelme Park(just West on Monroe). That’s where we went to snack and watch the puppies run around the dog park. Perfect little treat on a hot night. Welcome to the neighborhood.

From the time that this deliscious little stand moved into my neighborhood I have been very happy. 2 reasons– 1, my girlfriend is addicted to froyo and we were driving across the city to get it all the time. 2, the owners of this franchise are literally the best. No question. For those who haven’t been, Red Mango’s concept offers about 12 different flavors/varieties of yogurt goodness. You dump it into your bowl, and proceed to the toppings area. Everything from graham cracker dust, to gummy bears, to brownie bits and whipped marshmallow syrup are available for your culinary creation. Each time I have been there, the owners have been there. You can tell they take pride in their ownership and truly appreciate their customers. Everyone is treated very well… their staff is incredibly friendly. Join their rewards program– you can get money off your tasty treats after just a few visits. *Yes I am a real person writing this review and not one of the owners. I just enjoy this place that much. Boom.
