They are closing but staff still friendly… And still asking if I want to buy batteries :-)

I stopped into this location to pick up an adapter, so I could use my big audiophile headphones with my iPhone. As soon as I walked in, the woman behind the cash register walked right up to me to ask me what I needed help with. She found my adapter immediately! When she saw I had an iPhone, she told me about how I can get a new iPhone cheaper at Radio Shack than from the AT&T store, which is good to know, since the iPhone 5 is coming out soon. All in all, a great experience! It’s important to know, though, that the store is on Madison, even though the address says Wacker.

Had to run here from my Chicago office to get some specific cables I didn’t have. They are 2 blocks from my office in the Loop. They had just what I needed with a very friendly salesperson. Even bought some stuff for mysef since I needed it and they had it. A little hard to find. I entered the building from South Wacker and there was no sign of a Radio Shack. Left out the building’s side street door and there it was.

I was killing some time between work appointments, so I popped into this RadioShack located just blocks from my office. I needed an antenna for my new HDTV and did not really know what to ask for. The helpful young saleslady actually suggested a product that was not top-of-the-line expensive. Although I’m still trying to figure out HDTV, the antenna has been a good purchase.
