Sigh. I hate writing negative reviews.
Impulsively, mindlessly, must have cheese fries.
My order was not fresh. The fries were not crisp or warm anytime recently.
There were not requested condiments.
There was not barbeque sauce. As requested. Dry meat. Coleslaw clump. Bun. That’s it.
Hair in sandwich, definitely inside the sandwich, definitely not from my head.
$ 14.
End of story. I feel sick.

Review on brisket poutine only — Great for late night meal after dancing for hours at East Room. (Visited both locations for the first time tonight). It’s possible my cheese would’ve been more melted if I had eaten in instead of getting a to go order. Michael at the counter is incredibly attractive and friendly. Owners should keep him visible lol (extra star for great service with a gorgeous smile)
Honestly I suggest this place for late night fix based on what I ate. It was tasty but I don’t think I would recommend for any other time. Brisket was solid and would probably taste great on the brisket sandwich.

Why? Because I’m about to tell you to eat the pulled pork poutine and I’m gonna save you the time of thanking me so you can just go order another as fast as you can.

I ordered from Q-​Tine last night, the chopped brisket sandwich and the cheese curds. It was not a pleasant experience.
The brisket was tasty but I was not able to eat it as a sandwich because the bun was soaked in grease. Completely inedible. I would like to say the cheese curds were tasty but they sent the fried pickles instead.
The order took so long to arrive that it was cold. The cold gravy turned into a congealed slime, the fries were almost inedible, and the cheese on top turned hard.
I would not recommend ordering delivery from this restaurant.

Nothing to complain about. But nothing to brag about. The «Q» was definitely better than the «Tine». I hate coleslaw, but theirs was incredible. I will say I’m glad there is a place in the city that serves this Canadian delicacy that puts our fat filled dinners to shame. I think the flavors just ran together like the gravy it’s served in and felt like a rock in my stomach. I don’t know, maybe you just have to be from Montréal to really appreciate it, eh?

The poutine is on-​point, the pecan pie was one of the best I’ve had in my life, and the chopped brisket sandwich was juicy and amazing. I will absolutely be back.

Q-​tine does not know how to count. Ordered 2 entrees and only received one. Don’t order delivery from this place. Terrible service.

Ordered delivery and waited over two hours. Food didn’t show up and I get a text saying that there are closed. Garbage customer service.

I came here with my boyfriend after waiting in line FOREVER to get into the Whistler. We were both a little hangry & frozen at the time. The vibe is alright, it’s not the type of place you would come on a date (as other Unilocalers have noticed). The lighting is very bright and everything is metal. For BBQ/​Homey foods, I’d prefer a warmer atmosphere with warmer tones since it didn’t seem like the sort of place you’d hang around at.
The pricing here is pretty good, expect to spend $ 10−14/pp and there’s a good beer selection/​margarita machine. On Tuesdays they have a $ 10 Classic Poutine & Marg combo, which is a pretty decent deal. My boyfriend ordered the Three Little Pigs and I got the special. Both of us agreed that our food was good, but we wouldn’t crave it. Poutine is composed of french fries, gravy, and cheese curds so if you don’t like these things– stick to the BBQ menu. It was a lot of food and we probably could have split one order.
Overall– this place is A-​OK!

This is my 3^rd time ordering from Q-​Tine. I was satisfied the first 2 times. But this last one left me disappointed. I always order Three Little Pigs and the ratio between pulled pork, bacon and pork belly was always on point.
So I got it again tonight, there were literally 2 pieces of pork belly in there and maybe a strip of bacon and ALL pulled pork.
Long story short. Really disappointed with my last order. I hope they get it right next time.

Came here late at night after a concert at Concord since it was close by. Really wanted to like this place seeing as I love french fries, but unfortunately everything I tried just didn’t do it for me.
I had the classic poutine. I thought the gravy was way too salty, so it overpowered the fries. While the fries weren’t the worst I’ve ever had, there was something missing about them. For a place whose signature dish is poutine, I guess I expected better fries. Maybe if they were cut a little thicker or something like that. The cheese curds were good though! The gravy just really ruined the poutine for me.
The Montréal smoked meat was okay. Kind of on the dry side. The taste of the cole slaw was also off putting to me, too strong of a horseradish flavor perhaps?
Overall, this place just wasn’t my cup of tea. Too bad!

This place is great for some late nite drunk food… Menu is very easy to order from, and the beer selection is also impressive. But the food is so so, again it’s great drunk food, not somewhere to go for date night!

Was here again not too long ago with my boyfriend and lord have mercy. What a satisfying meal we had.
Had a nice cold lagunitas to go with it, great vibes, friendly staff, just awesome!
As soon as anyone leaves from having ate a staff member comes out and cleans/​tidys up which to me, tell a lot about the owner and staff. I’ve literally ate at places where no one bothers to pick up and it’s just pretty gross.
Eat here ya’ll! You won’t be disappointed.

I LOVE POUTINE! When I came here with a group of people. We went savory and tried some different Poutine, I would have just gone with the original (cause it’s delicious) but the dishes we got were good too.
I’d come back when I’m craving Poutine or after a night out at the slippery slope

This place was ok. I was outraged at how expensive the sides were for the tiny portions. The sauces are good. The food is decent but not delicious I don’t think I will go back though.

They have poutine.
I mean, they have _​actual poutine_​. In Chicago.
That’s enough for 5 stars, right there. There are several other places in Chicago that have something on the menu that’s been somehow mislabeled as ‘poutine’, but these guys have, in fact, poutine. And it’s pretty good.

You don’t need to be Canadian to love fries, cheese curds and gravy combined. I’ve been missing my poutine fix since Bad Happy closed, so seeing this place open was awesome.
I had the Coach Q, and promptly ate it all like a duck (pigs tend to chew). Loved every forkful. Good selection of craft beers, too. I’ll definitely be back!

I love this place– have been 4 times– first time I had the brisket sandwich, the next 3 times it was the pulled pork– I was hooked —
The French Fries are fresh and tasty, the slaw on the Pulled Pork was perfect, nice pickle too. And a great selection of sauces– (try the white bbq sauce)
There is a lot more I still need to try, I will be back …
Friendly staff too, it’s a nice clean space with ample seating. It’s counter service, which is fine by me.

I was killing time in Logan Square while I waited to pick my husband up from O’hare. I just happened to find a parking spot right in front of Q-​Tine and I also had just read about it opening on Chicago Eater.
I only had an appetite for a snack so I ordered the Q Classic poutine ($ 5.99). Fries hold up to the gravy and aren’t soggy right away. Great chewy bite to white cheddar cheese curds. Gravy has great flavor but the texture was just a bit thick and lumpy. Condiment station has 4 different sauces: white, mustard-​like, BBQ, cayenne wasabi bbq. Poutine didn’t really need it. They serve a good range of local beers. I ordered their house iced tea ($ 1.99) and was very pleased. Not as many poutine options as Big Poutinere in Wrigleyville but that’s probably since they offer some BBQ dishes too.

I love that its open so late! Who doesn’t want BBQ at that time of night at an amazing location.
I have to say that the ribs were just okay, but I also personally prefer ribs with lots of sauce. The sides were not very memorable, but I did like the corn bread. The watermelon margarita slushie was pretty pricey but tasted great.
I had my friends poutine and it was awesome! Definitely get that if you come here. Friendly staff as well!
