I went to a vendor event and when I heard we were going to have psychic readings I was so excited! She’s very smart, very spiritual and very insightful. Everything she said was spot on and accurate. I’d highly recommend seeing her if you’re looking for some direction and confirmation in your life!

I just got my cards read by Dorothy and she was spot on with everything. She knew about my relationships I’ve had inside my work place, about 3 important people in my life right now, and about jewelry my grandma left for me. Also knew about stuff about my dad that I never mentioned. I would highly recommend her. She doesn’t rush you, you can ask as many questions as you would like. 5 stars all the way. Go go go !!

Don’t waste your time. She was a late, tried to up-​sell me half through my ten minute card reading which was $ 55!!! Very generic, no connection whatsoever. I’m a spiritual person and have had readings before. I don’t know if she had a long day and the juice was all gone, but there was nothing there. Waited 30 minutes in the cold outside her place while she was with someone else, to have a crap ten minutes. I“m so made, it was such a rip off. I should of known better when my GPS didn’t wanted to give me directions to her business. I think my own guardian angels were trying to look out for me to stay away from her bad energy.
She asked if I was seeing anyone, and insisted on seeing his photo. Mind you I was like I don’t even like this guy that much, it’s light dating, etc… hint hint. She starts to tell me he’s my twin flame. What a joke!!!
Then she asked me if money was a problem. I said no. then the attempt to up-​sell me happened.
She said I needed my chakras balanced, at $ 140, and then asked if that was going to be a problem to pay. Ummmm what? Hell no I’m not giving you anything. How dare you ask if I can afford it.
What a load of crap. Stay away from Dorothy, maybe she’s the bad witch.

I think that she is very accurate and explains to me my dreams. I would recommend everyone going to see her.

I am speechless! We all laugh when people say that they are going to see a psychic, like its weird or crazy or something that something so far fetched could even remotely be real. I can say now, ill never doubt again… this psychic has changed my life. Here is my story…
Aug 2014 Mother and Daughter trip to Chicago.
Current state of my life THEN was as follows– drinking all the time, changing jobs, bad relationships… overall a royal mess.
The questions I asked were answered with responses that I hoped to god would become true, but honestly i really didnt count on it. I thought maybe I was just being fed some motivational words.
WELL Current 2015 — as I was told, my bad habits would be gone in a year. Done. exactly a year later. she said I would get a promotion ‘soon’, I rolled my eyes… Promotion April 30^th, now driving a brand new mercedes benz and living in the classiest apartment complex around.
She said I would indeed get married someday, and that I would meet ‘the one’ next year and get married in two years (from Aug 14). Well, its been a little over a year and a half since then and I have met the one … for real. I havent had a boyfriend in 5 years. I have been emotionally guarded for years. I just MET THE ONE. I am so giddy. We have a session tonight so that I can get more answers. I CANT WAIT.

I highly recommend Dorothy. You remember the X-​Files, Moulder had a poster on his wall: I WANT TO BELIEVE… remember? Well, that is me-​I have always WANTED to believe in this stuff but the scientific side of my brain always found reason to doubt it. Until last week. I now DO believe. I’ve had my cards done here and there over the past 20 years. Some numerology, misc. stuff with friends. None of it very accurate (at all). I had three life issues come up at once. I had just noticed the place after many years of not noticing it (strange as I always think I am observant). Anyway, I popped in one day. I asked three questions, in my head, while I shuffled the deck. Dorothy nailed each one. Like, scary accurate with random details that simply do not apply to everyone. It took me 4 days to fully absorb that what happened was truly amazing. She is the real deal. I went back today for clarification and got some much needed answers. She is going to do some spiritual work on me and while some people may think that it sounds crazy, I am all about it. If it helps me find my proper path and makes me a happier person, why not? I want to have a party and have her come and read some of my friends. My sisters are planning to visit her as well as many friends. If you believe in this sort of thing, or heck, if you don’t but want some answers and you are even the least bit open to seeing (like I was) if it is legit, give it a go.

I was on an aimless route, taking the long way home when I walked by this place. It caught my eye and grabbed my attention so much that I doubled back and walked inside. I’d been meaning to look for a place to get a good reading in Chicago being a new transplant to this city and things being quite crazed as of late. I have had a year or 2 to say the least, and I love therapy. But I also love astrology and psychics. I’ll fight anyone tooth and nail who says it’s not accurate and signs are applicable to all. However, Being very intuitive myself, I have a gut for who is the real deal and who isn’t. Most aren’t. Although I booked this last minute, I had a good/​nervous feeling before my reading.
Dorothy is very laid back and blunt, which I like. I don’t want some hippie bullshit. She told me what I already know about myself, but she doesn’t know me, hence the reason you pay these people. She knew I had a business in mind, and said I’m meant to be an entrepreneur, which I always have been. I’ve just lost my focus lately.

Walked in, looking for spiritual balancing since I was feeling a bit anxious lately. I received a chakra balancing which was entirely a new experience for me. I would describe it as a spiritual orgasmic and out of body experience, as I felt like just a wave in the universe. Coming out of the balancing, I feel like a whole new person, calmer and far more balanced and grounded. I would highly recommend this place, as I’ve seen another psychic and didn’t get anywhere near the value I’ve gotten from here. I’ll definitely be back for more balancing.

I found Dorothy on Unilocal.People raved about her in the reviews. My story is a little different.
My first reading was amazing. I came to her with a specific issue on my mind that was inevitably answered 5 minutes before I walked in her shop. I bought the voucher on Unilocal and over all paid $ 50. She read my cards and was so on point about my life. I left feeling great. I told all my friends to go to her. There were a few odd moments. She asked about money, frequently. How much I make, how much I’ve made in the past. Seems a bit personal to me. When I went to pay, she complemented me on my wallet and asked to see it. She looked inside. I felt a little violated. I had a lot of cash inside since it was pay day. She asked me to come back for another reading on the first day of fall since it was a new season. I agreed and she wrote me in. She made me swear and promise I would come back. I loved my first session so much I was happy to go back. However– this is where it all turns to shit.
Go on for my second session which was one full month later. She didn’t read cards, or anything. She sat in her chair and asked me what happen over the month. How was I feeling, what am I up to. It was like she was playing catch up with an old friend. Also her grandchild (4 year old) is frequently in the back while she does readings. She kept interrupting and wanting Dorothys attention. Cute little girl, but I’m a paying client. She didn’t do ANY spiritual work. At all. Nada. She charged me $ 65. I was surprised it was so high but I obliged and paid. Then she says she wants to do a Chakra cleansing because one of mine was ‘blocked.’ She didn’t explain what she would do or how it works or the meaning behind it. She said its going to be $ 300. I was hesitant because that is a steep price. However, I decided to spend the last chunk of money and then take a break from readings. So– I pre paid the $ 300. She SPECIFICALLY told me that «I’m not changing your for my time, I’m only charging you for the materials» I was like okay, cool. I’ll get a book and some stones or something. WRONG. She gave me 5 incense to burn, told me to come back. Came back for the 3^rd time now. All she did was rub oil on my head, gave me a candle to burn and told me to come back again. I was annoyed at this point.
So I burn the candle. Come back now for the 4^th time. She asked how I felt burning the candle and how my day was and all about my job and a bunch of nonsense questions. Small talk. She had nothing new to say. Not a bit of new enlightenment or that my chakras were open and cleansed or anything along the lines of spiritual work. Here’s the best part– ** She then tells me she wants to work on a stone for me. I was like okay. Maybe this is where my $ 300 is going. NOPE. SHE SAYS THAT’LL BE $ 400 dollars. I was literally baffled. How the fuck do you come off charging me $ 400 when you charged me $ 300 last week for some fucking incense and one stupid candle??? I said I um I don’t want to spend anymore money. She says well what can you do? I said NOTHING! I’m not spending anymore money here. She gave me another incense to burn and told me come back Friday & she wouldn’t charge me. She could tell I was shocked at her outrageous price so she tried to scare me and say my chakras are open and I HAVE to come back. I politely took the incense and left. I left pissed and feeling ripped the fuck off.
All in all, If you have made it to the end of this– please be warned. She is a hoax. She purely wants your money and will never remember your name. You are just a dollar bill sitting in front of her. Im stupid for handing as much money over as I did. Dorothy, I hope you read this. You’re a phony sham !!!

I have one to multiple psychics and tarot card readers before and I can’t say I was too impressed here. This is only preliminary, but my session here was not very enlightening and seemed a bit of a cold read. There were definitely a few things that struck an accord with me and my life, but then others that just seemed very far fetched if not even applicable to my life. For ex. I have strong military ties and that someone in the military was watching over me. I can tell you right now, I know no one that has passed away that has had strong military ties, but nonetheless doesn’t mean that there was such a person. It did seem though as if the reader wanted to get me in for more sessions for more money without even really touching on the reasons and questions I had sought their insight for. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon.
I’m not sure if it was Dorothy or not, but it just seemed like a play to get more money and honestly didn’t seem too helpful. I’m sure other people have had more pleasant experiences though.

I’ve seen my fair share of psychics and spiritual readers and my experience with Dorothy was quite chilling. I shuffled the deck with my question in mind and she immediately answered it without me having to say anything. She was also accurate is seeing my troubles and helped me pinpoint the source. Because I have had spiritual work done before, she asked me to name a few people I’ve worked with and she picked up on some spiritual foul play she was able to help me with! It all suddenly made sense to me. I’m glad I went to see her so I can clear away the negative energy and move forth! This was a very refreshing psychic experience.

I’ve had a reading twice in 2014, and I can say with absolute certainty that all of her predictions came true. Dorothy is an extremely friendly and informative psychic. She helped me understand the state of my affairs and the course of my life. When giving out predictions, she even gives out specific numbers and timelines. She recommended additional methods for keeping positive energy in my life, showing me specific items and people I should be surrounded by. Overall, Dorothy is astounding in presence and in spirit. To start, I cannot review the actual psychic services at Psychic Spiritual Gallery, as I was not able to get a reading. This review is mainly about my customer experience, or lack thereof.
I called on a Friday for a weekend appointment (that same weekend), which I knew was cutting it close, but just wanted to give it a try. I am unsure of who I spoke with on the phone, but she seemed to have a clear schedule and was able to book two back to back appointments, one for myself and one for a friend. So great, right!
We went the day of the appointments a few minutes early and the reader was not even there (no one appeared to be working at all, I don’t know how the businees was open/​the doors were unlocked) She arrived about 5 minutes later and told me to «come back in like 20 minutes» because she had to do a reading for someone else. Not only that, but I had to wait outside. There is no waiting area, the readings are done in the main room. That would have been nice to know beforehand/​who makes customers wait outside? Additionally, there was another customer that stopped in to buy incense and she was told to come back later too!
My friend and I still had hope and went to run an errand and returned 35 minutes later. The reader was still with the same customer and there were 2 more people waiting outside for her services. We waited for another 5 minutes before deciding to leave. Needless to say, I will not be trying to arrange another appointment for a business that doesn’t honor them and has poor customer service.
