Friendly staff and a clean store! This is our go to for my 10 year old. She goes through shoes like crazy. I can always find a good sale to replace the shoes she destroys!

Right when I walked in I was greeted by the staff. All were very helpful & friendly. I got a great pair of steel toe work boots for an affordable price. I’d definitely recommend this Payless if you’re in need of shoes for a specific event or activity (i.e. work, wedding, etc.) However if your looking for some recognizable, name brand shoes, your better off looking elsewhere.

Everytime I stop by I feel welcome & as if I was with friends & family, even tho most of time I go alone. They are extremely helpful & especially when I just can’t make up my mind lol… they have a great selection for everyone in my family, my husband, & my 3 & 5 year old kids, & especially for me :). This is my #1 payless store I love shopping in.

Rose and Melissa were SO helpful! I needed a new pair of shoes for work. They showed me which shoes would be most comfortable and got me all set up with the rewards program. They made the experience quick and cost effective. Great shoe buying experience.

Had to buy some stage shoes in a big hurry… the management and every employee I encountered was kind, helpful, funny, and cheerful. I really enjoyed being there, and they stand out for customer service, in a city where often you’re met with a wall of apathy when shopping. These guys are so very sweet and deserve hugs! What a pleasant experience!

Love this Payless! Every time I’ve been in here, the workers have been so friendly and helpful. And I mean genuine friendly, not the fake kind. Selection is great and I’m always able to find what I’m looking for!

I usually never venture in here, but since it’s close to my ‘hood, and I needed emergency wedding shoes, I figured why not.
In my mind I had a simple pair of comfy flats in mind to wear to a couple of weddings I had coming up, so I wandered in. The staff immediately greeted me in a friendly way, and the two workers I directly encountered couldn’t have been more helpful.
So I began to try on a few pairs, and soon what I saw on my feet was more like, eh. But then a worker pulled down some shoe called a DexFlex, and immediately, I was sold! Holy crap, this shoe is so comfortable. It reminds me of the Vibram Five Fingers, and I thought I could even run in this shoe!
So I left with some awesome shoes from here and a smile on my face. Two weeks later, I picked up a shipment I had sent to their store, as one pair of awesome shoes is just not enough if you find some great ones. The manager this time was equally friendly and helpful. I’ll be back for sure.

I don’t really enjoy buying shoes. I’m the kind of person who buys a $ 20 pair of slip-​ons at Nordstrom Rack and tries to wear them for 5 years. So, when it was time to throw out my latest pair of shoes, I needed a replacement.
A quick trip to Payless was a success! I was helped when I entered and guided to the appropriate size section and shown examples of what I was looking for (slip-​on, good to walk around in) and then left alone to look and try things on. Oh, and they told me about the «Buy 1, Get 1 ½ Off» deal.
I found my day-​to-​day shoes, and because I can’t really resist a deal, picked up another pair — mocassins, for the house (yes, not technically «shoes», but being in the house with mocassins on is far better than being outside with shoes on).
Check-​out was a breeze. The customer service here is really great. I may actually stop in here more than once every few years!

I placed an on-​line order for pickup at this store. This review is based on the friendliness of the staff both over the phone and during pickup.
I ordered a pair of sandals and a pair of basic flats. I called a few times asking for the order and had pleasant people answer the phone and were helpful in getting me answers about where were my awesome new shoes. The website stated 14 — 21 days for delivery, I received them within a week. The staff was very helpful in tracking down the shoes especially when I told them that I needed them for my upcoming trip to Germany.
The young lady at the store was super nice and helped me decide that my shoes were indeed cute as I walked out with my new shoes and a huge smile.

I normally shop at a Payless somewhere just because they are so cheap. This one didn’t have a huge selection of shoes in my size (12, which doesn’t mean anything) but they had a Buy One, Get One sale and I needed two pairs of shoes, so why not?
I found two pairs and paid $ 40 after taxes. Not bad. The store was also really cramped I felt like it would be impossible for two people to pass through one aisle at the same time. The clerk who was there was impossibly nice. I’m a bit of a hermit — the type that just wants to get in and out, but he asked a ton of questions — which I’m sure is company policy. My phone number, address, email address and then told me how comfortable the shoes I was buying were — which bordered on creepy and made me think he had stepped foot in these shoes.
Prices were great, clerk was nice but overbearing.

It’s Payless… who reviews Payless?! Well, clearly me! And one other for this store. I darted into this store with only one quarter worth of minutes on the meter. 11 minutes to be exact. That was all I needed as I was on a mission with a short time frame. I needed cheap gym shoes for a self defense class I was headed to. The store was neat and clean. Street parking was easy, metered, but easy. I darted to my size and the gym shoe section. Not a giant selection but it served its purpose. I passed up the $ 15 pair for a silver and pink pair for $ 29 simply because they were cuter and more comfortable plus I had just gotten a 20% off coupon via email. In and out in under 11 min. Score! Oh yes, the girl who was working was friendly and helpful as well.

Alright, I’ve never been a huge fan of Payless, but they’ve up their game in recent years. They’ve jumped on the low-​price designer brand bandwagon (popularized by Target). Guest designer include Abaete, Alice + Olivia, Lela Rose, Patricia Field, and soon, Christian Siriano (winner of Project Runway Season 4). Goodness. Payless deserves a bit more credit these days.
I like this Payless because it’s big and organized. If you purchase just one pair of shoes during their BOGO sale, keep the receipt and get the discount on another pair of shoes you might purchase later. If that wasn’t generous enough, sometimes the receipt comes with additional discounts and coupons. Who doesn’t want to save a few bucks on shoes?
