Marcus is the freaking man! As is Chris, as everyone else has mentioned, and with good reason.
Having just purchased my first condo, I was leery of giving my keys away, even though Paws is completely bonded and insured. The condo and the dog are both my babies, so I wanted to make sure I really trusted whomever would be walking Colonel Mustard. ALL fears were removed when Chris and Marcus came over to meet him. They were obviously really good guys, and I was excited I’d found someone awesome to walk my very energetic black lab. The Colonel is way more relaxed now when I come home from work, so I don’t worry that he’s being short-​changed on walk times!
The cutest part is the little notes that Marcus leaves — I can tell he really does love my little guy, and for someone with no kids, hearing someone say they love your dog is as close as it comes!
I can’t recommend Paws Across Chicago enough — there is a reason they have such great Unilocal scores. 6 golden apples!

We’re back to using regular daily walks through Paws Across Chicago! We tried to do it on our own, but our dog would get too stressed waiting for us at the end of the workday. She’s a much happier dog now, and we’re much happier owners. Thanks Chris and Tania!

We were lucky enough to stumble across Paws Across Chicago’s web site and were so surprised by how quickly we got a call back from Chris. This sort of reliability and promptness is so hard to find these days but Paws Across Chicago has been nothing but to our family and most especially to our dog. Our dog loves his walk with the Paws Across Chicago crew and they are very mindful of any special requests, even if they are last minute requests. I would highly recommend Paws Across Chicago to anyone looking for a well-​priced, caring and reliable dog walking service.

I highly recommend Paws Across Chicago. Chris will treat your pet as his own. My wife really liked that he texted and kept her updated each day on feeding our cat. The prices are reasonable and it is nice to have piece of mind that someone is taking great care of your pet while your are out of town. Plus there aren’t very many pet services geared towards cats, most are dog focused. I would refer my friends and family to use this service. Warm regards Chris and Abby.

This is the most affordable, flexible dog-​walking service in my area. I’ve heard of other walking services charging $ 18 for only 20 minutes – that’s outrageous. Unlike other services, Paws Across Chicago also doesn’t require a minimum number of walks per week.
The owner, Chris, and our walker, Cassandra, are extremely friendly and accommodate last minute schedule changes without any problem. Our dog Lulu is a bit needy and gets separation anxiety when we leave. It has gotten noticeably better ever since we started getting her walks to break up the day while we’re at work. She doesn’t freak out when we leave, because she knows she gets a walk later, and she’s slightly less insane when we get home (some of that insanity won’t ever go away!) I’m so glad I can keep my pup happy at such a low cost. Thanks guys!

I’m a super neurotic pet owner. Like, totally over protective, crazy neurotic. And, on top of that, my dog has a couple of behavioral quirks. I told Chris about my Princess and her particular needs and he set me up with Meghan as my walker. She has been absolutely amazing, always accommodating my crazy changing schedule, and sticking exactly within the confines of my (maybe a little nutty) rules about how to handle my dog. She leaves me great notes every day letting me know how the walks went, and Princess seems much much happier now that she has midday walks!
Chris is fantastic, his pricing is super reasonable, and he will do everything he can to accomodate your needs. I can’t recommend Paws Across Chicago highly enough!

Highly, highly recommended. Chris and his team have been absolutely amazing with my «special needs» dog. First of all, they charge an extremely reasonable $ 12/​walk – nothing like the laughable $ 18 that some other folks are now charging.
Second, Chris just makes things easy. If there’s a scheduling change, you just email/​call/​text/​Facebook him. Nothing complicated. Also, when my dog has problems (e.g. getting out of his cage, eating a sofa, destroying his bed) Chris calls me immediately and helps me figure out how best to handle the situation. That level of communication – both to and from him and his team – is vital and much appreciated.
In particular, our dog has separation anxiety and requires all manners of favors: sometimes he needs to be walked early if he’s acting up, sometimes he needs two walks/​day, etc. Chris is very accommodating and understanding, especially when I’m being neurotic.

My dog Juno Inu has an intro song. It’s Janet Jackson’s «What Have You Done for Me Lately» and plays every time she stares up at a person. You see Juno believes the world owes her something and that something is treats, attention, playtime, toys, anything and everything.
That something is also an A+ dog walker and through Paws Across Chicago, we have been able to provide her with one. Tania is absolutely an amazing dog walker!
We first met with Chris (the owner) who came over to introduce himself, tell us about Paws Across Chicago and meet with our pup Juno. Juno was skeptical. She gave him the look. The «It’s Juno… Ms. Juno Inu if you’re nasty» look.
But Chris delivered and in Tania we have found a very capable, patient, always reliable dog walker who our dog adores. Rates are extremely reasonable at $ 12 per 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

Chris and Paws Across Chicago truly go the extra mile for my greyhounds. If there is ever a problem Chris calls me right away and let’s me know whats happening. I feel completely comfortable leaving the dogs in his care while I’m at work and plan to use his in home pet sitting service whenever I go away!
