Terrific pricing on paper and printing services. Very interesting selection of stationery and papers. The pricing for printing and the quality were superb.

So sad they closed down. Best paper store ever with even better prices.

Great products! They have so much in their cozy shop on Damen. The sales woman (refreshingly helpful in an honest fun way) made some stylish and affordable suggestions that I loved. Color and Beauty live here!!!

After thinking that I was going to print our wedding invitations myself, my fiancée went to Paper and Print to pick out our supplies. However after seeing the great sample invitations that they had to offer, at an AMAZING price, we were sold. The customer service was top notch, the clerk Julynna was always helpful no matter how many questions we had, or how many times we came in just to look at the same invitations, or how many different price quotes we wanted, she was great. When we finally decided to place the order for our invitations, we got our proofs right away, we made some changes and the next thing I knew… Poof! the invitations were printed and ready for me to pick up. They look GREAT and I am so happy that we walked into this store… even if you decide to go the DIY route this is definetly the place for you. Looking forward to finding another reason to go back to this store.

I went to Paper and Print after 2 frustrating trips to Paper Source had me pulling my hair out. Paper and Print has every size card/​envelope/​paper you could possibly want and in colors vastly superior to the selection Paper Source. The color palette here is much more sophisticated and the prices are totally reasonable (especially for the neighborhood). They literally had everything I was looking for ALL IN ONE PLACE! The only thing I would change is to make it bigger!!!

I love Paper and Print. We did all our own stationary for our wedding and all the supplies came from here! Great products and service!

This place is very cute and in a great location. I went here to price invitations for my wedding. The ower/​sales person gave me a faint smile when I walked in, but offered no assistance even when I was browsing right in front of her.
Anyway, my wedding is small, under 30 guests and this place deals with larger weddings. I saw invites that were perfect, but you can’t purchase just what you need. Oh well, maybe I’ll try buying «Thank you» cards from here, maybe not the owner left a bad first impression.

Not impressed: 1) timeline — not sure why it takes FOREVER to get a proof emailed to you 2) attention to detail: my invites were printed on the wrong size paper — they still look nice but not what I ordered. I sent my sister-​in-​law there for her birthday invitations and after submitting the final proof to the owner, there was STILL an error on her invites — not a huge one, but again — attention to detail. He did not use the final draft, instead used the second to last unedited proof. In summation, this is not the kind of service you want when ordering invitations, whether formal or informal.
I have really tried to love Paper and Print since it is a convenient location for me and I am trying to give business to a smaller shop. However, the owner has let me down several times and I am now forced to take the rest of my printing projects elsewhere. Sad, because I could have given them a lot of business considering I am have several engaged friends and am plan and/​or help plan several other upcoming events.

Great paper, great service. I got the paper for my DIY wedding invitations here. I had to order some of the envelopes (which came in quicker than they quoted me), and along with them, at Leslie’s suggestion, I ordered a personalized embosser which embossed our return address the outer envelope flap.
My invitations look SO PROFESSIONAL, and the paper was the first step! :)

The pros of Paper and Print are many…
Logistics: It is located at the corner of Damen & Homer. While Damen can often be a bust, Homer is not zoned and there are always places to park within 2 blocks (take it from me, I live on Homer).
Product: Assortment, Assortment, Assortment. They have several colors & sizes to choose from and the textures of the paper vary. If you have any design sense at all and need to make invitations on a budget (but want a professional look), Paper and Print is your place. This past weekend, I made some invites for a friend’s shower. I bought two different sizes of paper, envelopes & tacking circles — total cost: $ 18! Each pack of paper & envelopes are sold in packs of 25 and run around $ 3.75 — $ 6.00. I’m doing the programs for my sister’s wedding and will be buying all my supplies from here. Oh and a plus, they have several samples around the store to get your creative juices flowing!
Staff: The owner/​manager of the store is there during the week. She is friendly, insightful and is always willing to lend an idea or two is you need her assistance. I beleive she is also the one who handles all store done printing. There are typically a few younger girls working on the weekends who seem to know the graphics & design field and are able to any questions with knowledge.
On top of creative invitation supplies, they have a great selection of stationary, cards, journals, wrapping paper, ribbon, etc…

While mostly containing paper and card stock for invitations, Paper and Print also has pre-​made items such as holiday cards, journals, stationery, etc. in the front section. The store store is well-​organized and fun to browse, whether or not you have a project in mind.
As an added bonus, there is often an area up front stocking items that are on sale!

Since I am not a fan of Paper Source but needed to buy some supplies for my DIY projects for our wedding, I was happy to find Paper and Print. The store carries the same type of paper as Paper Source but I found the staff much more friendly and helpful.
During our wedding planning, I came here at least three times. The staff was tremendously helpful including one frazzled trip when I was looking for paper to line envelopes.
Besides plain paper, they have boxed sets from Crane’s and other chic brands.

Good hours. VERY reasonable prices on general paper needs. Good variety of paper. I’ve never had an issue parking in that area (not my neighborhood) on Damen or Armitage. Helpful staff.

This shop is a good bet if you want to DIY. They offer a great selection of sizes and colors. The best part about this place is the friendly service. When I went in the last time, they were out of a specific size and color of some stock I needed (and it was a pretty large order to fill), so they offered to order extra just for me and then called me to let me know when it had arrived! They aren’t as cheap as some other places, but the attentive service makes it worthwhile.

The art of letter writing is not dead — it is merely heavily sedated, and the beautiful wares at Paper and Print may help revive this slumbering giant of good penmanship and gracious manner.
Ever since I read that both Jackie Kennedy and Princess Diana wrote thank-​you notes the day after any major event, I have so wanted to emulate this ladylike behavior. Alas, these days it is a major endeavor to remember «socks first, THEN shoes» so for the sake of sanity I have had to abandon this ideal.
However, when this type of correspondance is inevitable, I have found the selection at Paper and Print to be spot on. I love the range of colors and how the sizes can go back to any of the coordinating envelopes for mixing and matching. They have a series of irridescent papers that are just adorable and I have used them in many mailings, both personal and professional.
I have taken off one star as more often than not the inventory is a bit low and I cannot match colors with sizes to my liking, and this has occured a handful of times. But these things happen.
So let’s all try to elevate ourselves from the classless mire of modern life and agree to write one thank-​you note a week! Now, who has a stamp?

Trendy, Simple, and Stylish! The displays in the windows lined with trendy invitations and stationary always seem to catch my eye. They have rows of card stock, envelopes, stationary, place cards, paper (and more) in at least 20 different colors and also many paper styles (metallic, linen…). The staff is helpful and are willing to give suggestions. The store also offers seasonal cards and stationary.
I just bought material to make rehearsal dinner invitations and I really like that they have do-​it-​yourself materials and supplies. The store also offers printing in multiple fonts and styles, but honestly I found the printing costs pretty pricey along with the assembly cost. Great prices if you are willing to print and assemble yourself!

The focus is on a custom/​DIY invites so you will be disappointed if you go in expecting to find a large selection of packaged notecards or greeting cards.
You don’t need to be an expert crafter to create great invitations. Paper and Print has all the supplies you’ll need, tons of design examples throughout the store, and friendly staff to help you pick out the right paper and colors and to explain items such as «grommets».
I went in there knowing nothing and since have created birth announcements and invites for a bridal and baby shower. All of which were super cute if I do say so myself ;)

I thought that this might be an alternative for me to buy different types of paper for my scrapbook, but it’s more of a stationary type of place and great for invitations and that sort of thing. The paper can be purchased in sets that come in a package. There are lots of creative examples all over the store, and they have ribbons, velum and other accessories available to make your invitation pretty and classy. They also have wrapping paper, and photo albums as well. The associate working there was very friendly and helpful.

I love how this is a PAPER store. Tons and tons of papers for your own projects. For me its pretty inspiring just to browse.
They do have ready-​made cards, various books, pens, seals, etc.
Their custom work looks really neat, but I’ve never needed anything done.

I just recently got married and used Paper and Print for all of our printing. Leslie was simply amazing consulting with us on paper quality and fonts. The prices were comprable perhaps even abit cheaper than your standard invitations. For a very low fee they put your invitations, programs, bows… I have had nothing but a wonderful experience there. Now that the wedding is over I need another new project to send over to Paper and Print!
This is not a typical card shop. There a few handmade greeting cards but it is mainly a DIY shop.
