Specialties
Breakfast with a Twist! Including the one and only Sassy Eggs (the House Specialty), a Sunday Brunch Menu that changes weekly, offering a different Eggs Benedict, Mexican Breakfast Specialty, Special Breakfast Sandwich, and Special French Toast. Please note — Sundays are a great day to come in, as Eggs Benedict is only offered on Sundays (plus, there’s free Julius Meinl coffee outside if there’s a wait). The Mexican Specialties include Adan’s Spicy Chilaquiles, Huevos Enfrijolados, Huaraches a la Madrugada, Huevos Motuleños, and more — it’s another great reason to come in on Sundays! Weekly specials are also ever-changing, offering a different Breakfast Sandwich, Special French Toast, and Special Scramble every week.
History
Established in 2006.
Opening originally in March of 2006, and re-opening after a fire in January of 2007, Over Easy Café took off running. Fueled by a creative menu, a love of food, and neighborhood support, Over Easy has become a smashing success — with cheerful ambiance, pin-point consitency, and unpretentious originality, it is indeed a ‘breakfast of champions.” Jon Cignarale, exective chef and owner, prides himself on offering simple food, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented, and never takes his success for granted: «Everything about the meal is important, from coffee on the table as soon as you sit down to your eggs actually coming over easy… This is what I love to do — I wouldn’t want to wake up everyday doing anything else.»
