HORRIBLE! Over-priced merchandise, lazy and nasty sales people and an owner who needs a lesson in customer service. I will NEVER step foot in this shop again and I truly hope that this serves as a warning to others. If you don’t put your customer first, then you won’t have a business for very long. Thankfully, there a many other boutiques in the city that appreciate their customers and I will continue to take my business to them! Here’s what happened: My friend recently purchased a necklace at Only She, but it broke the next day. She attempted to returned it the following day… within 2 days of buying it. She asked for her money back and the sales lady explained that she could only give a store credit… but delivered the message with a nasty attitude. My girlfriend said she understood their«return» policy, but that this was actually faulty merchandise and was afraid to get another necklace for fear that it, too, would break. The sales lady would not budge and was actually condescending toward my friend. I was appalled, but kept my mouth shut as this was my friend’s ordeal and I didn’t want to intervene. So, in the end, the best she could do was to agree to allow Only She to return the necklace to the manufacturer so that it could be repaired. Three weeks later, she picked up the repaired(fingers-crossed) necklace from the owner. Thinking that if she were the owner, she would want to know if a customer was unhappy, my friend decided that she would mention her less-than-fabulous experience in her attempt to return the necklace. And, the owner responded by defending her employee’s bad behavior, saying she had never had any complaints… blah, blah, blah! And, followed that up by defending the manufacturer of the faulty necklace! My friend was so shocked that she took the necklace, told the owner she would be back again, but ONLY if the necklace broke and that she would expect her money back.

I’ve heard good things about Only She so I decided to check it out for myself today, especially after walking by their new location on State Street. I wasn’t too impressed by this upscale boutique, which has a grandmotherly perfume smell to it. There were 2 sales associates sitting on chairs when I walked in, who were reading books and hardly glanced up in my direction. I walked around and checked out the rather expensive clothing and for once in my life I didn’t find anything that I wanted(definitely a good thing after all the money I’ve been spending on holiday shopping). I was in and out in about 5 minutes and hardly received a glance from the sales associates on my way out. If you’re looking for an upscale boutique I recommend walking a few blocks to Oak Street, where the merchandise is worth the expensive prices.

This place has designer inspired clothing. I’m not a replica buying person but for the people who are you will look just as good. They have cool clothing great for work and hitting the clubs!

Really nice boutique with lots of trendy clothing for women. They have so much to choose from and you can rest assured that everything they carry is the latest style available. The staff is really friendly here and great at making suggestions.
