Undlia Smith is the executive director of NPS; she has 25 years of experience in corporate management operations, holding previous positions with Blue Cross Blue Shield, as director of policy issuance, and administrator of accounting for cook county hospital. She has great leadership skills, she shares her expertise in managing assets, a very result oriented individual who knows what it takes for organizations to change. Undlia understands the processes, of how to make things happen as efficiently as possible and what needs to be delivered at each stage. As executive director of NPS she has brought a bold, entrepreneurial vision for the future of the organization. Her responsibilities includes providing strategic leadership and vision, solidifying core programmatic strength, increasing NPS’s visibility and support across the geographic, and seeking to develop a more diversified funding base, working cohesively with the president and the board of directors.
