But not limited to ice cream & Pizza of course. Not that that’s a bad thing… :-D I’ll tell you when I decided to always go back to this particular store. I was baking all day and found my self out of flour and my pan warped in the oven.((DONOTBUYIKEABAKINGSHEETS!)) I had to have my sweets finished in time to take them with me to work. I did not have time to go to Jewel or wherever. I was discouraged! :-( I was distraught!!! :-| But then! LIGHTBULB! SAMS! I thew the plastic wrap over the batter and my freshly beaten sugar and egg combo, threw on my shoes, grabbed a $ 20 and hoped that Sam’s would have what I needed. I got there to discover that they had everything I needed and more, at my finger tips! They have flour, sugar, eggs, buttermilk, fruit, soda, tech accessories, ETC… These may be only things that I feel necessary in daily life, but I have yet to see another store with such a… I’m not sure how to word it exactly. But its almost that they understand what their customers are going to need. Compared to others that stock their shelves with stereotypical generic items. Whatever you do, Don’t go across the street. I am not going to bash local businesses, BUT. I GUARANTEE you will have a better time at Sam’s. GO ! :)) And this has nothing to do with my name being Sam. ;)

I live in the neighborhood and can say from experience that New Sam’s is vastly superior to other convenience stores within walking distance. For being a very small store space New Sam’s fits in a large variety of inventory. The management is friendly, and the store is clean. I am always willing to walk an extra block to come here as opposed to other shops nearby for the overall experience. No, they don’t have any fresh produce and you might not be able to get the exact brands you want, but short of going to Dominick’s this is the best shop for basic staples in the neighborhood.
