This place is HORRIBLE!!! Do NOT go here!!! This was a complete waste of money. First, I waited for 10 minutes in the lobby with no mention of how long it was going to be. When I finally walked back up to the receptionist, she gave off the impression that she forgot about me. When I was finally walked back to the massage room, the therapist (Ryan) asked a few questions and I specifically indicated how much time to spend on which parts (50 mins on back and 10 mins on neck). The massage itself was ok (fair at best) but he ended it at only 45 mins and then said it was ‘over’. I dozed off for about a minute or two but thought the time seemed to have flown by rather fast. When I got dressed and checked my iphone, I realized why it seemed to go by so fast… it was ONLY 45 MINS!!! When he came back in the room, I asked him how long the massage was for (hoping that I had it wrong) and he said that we had 75 minutes total with 60 mins for massage and 15 mins for discussion. When I questioned why we ended at only 45 mins, he said he had to get ready for the next appointment. What!!! Furthermore, he acted bewildered and said that he «might have been 10 mins early but nothing more than that.» I said «well, 10 minutes is a lot when you’ve paid for a 60 minute massage!». UNBELIEVABLE. I should have read the reviews before me. I also, like other posters, tried calling them at least a dozen times trying to book the appointment and no one ever picked up. I almost thought it was a sham. I’m completely at a loss w/​r/​t the customer service here. Needless to say, one star is generous by far on the assessment here. Too bad there aren’t negative stars. RIDIC.

Got the groupon as a gift and went in for appt by 345 pm. I am currently waiting and haven’t heard anything from them. There is a common front desk but they directed me to just sit and they will be with me. I’ve been waiting for 20 min.

Don’t even bother going to this place. I purchased a groupon for a massage and scheduled my appointment online (after calling 5 times because there was never an answer and no one ever called me back) I made my appointment and got a call soon after (funny) telling me that the computer system was acting funny and that the time slot I picked was actually unavailable. So I rescheduled. I not only received a text reminder but also an email reminder of my appointment date and time. I got to my appointment 15 minutes prior to my scheduled time and waited. My scheduled time came and went and 20 minutes later I received a phone call that they couldn’t get ahold of my masseuse Hannah. Not sure why not since this is her job and I had two reminders sent to me. I didn’t receive my massage. Took time out of my day to wait for my appointment that never happened. Don’t even bother with this very unprofessional business. Seems like a phony business.

The actual massage was fine, but there was no one at the front desk and no sign whatsoever about the business. Wandered the building frantically (it was a weekend and it was empty) for 30 minutes trying to find it.

I can’t speak to the massage aspect of Neurometabolic because I came for chiropractic care, but I can say emphatically that this business is not «a piece of shit.» It’s more like an oasis in the city.
I first came to see Dr. St Jean after a friend referred me. She said that he was amazing and had alleviated a lot of her back pain that was a result of mild scoliosis. I work in an office and had bad neck and middle back pain. Probably from being in front of a computer a lot, so I thought I’d try it.
I want to preface this review by saying I have worked SEVERAL health care professionals in the past, but none of them can hold a candle to Dr. St Jean.
My initial consultation consisted of Dr. St Jean analyzing my posture and listening to me about my symptoms and you know what was amazing? He actually listened and took his time! I’m used to old men tapping me a couple times on the back and sending me on my way, so I was definitely surprised.
We came up with a treatment plan consisting of two visits a week. He also gave me simple exercises to do at home. I’m on my third week and the pain is subsiding already. Every time I leave his office I feel amazing. I feel more oxegynated, balance and just plain old better than when I walked in.
He is also a fountain of information. I asked him why I felt more oxygenated and he took his time to explain the science behind it. He is a big believer in the brain body connection, which makes a ton of sense to me.
Bottom line is his treatment works. He is passionate about what he does and you can tell by the way he interacts with you. If you have neck or back pain, you owe it to yourself to check him out. As a matter of fact I dare you to visit Dr. St Jean and not feel amazing afterword. I don’t think it’s possible!

I had a massage appointment and they kept me waiting for over 30 mins. No apology, nothing. They had some other business that was more important than my appointment, and they were happy to blow me off. Do not waste your time here with this piece of shit business.
